  1. Abbie, I agree with all of the above and if your going to the bank for a Small business loan or even grant $$ from who ever first impressions really count. Have a business plan at hand and dress the part when ever attempting to secure the funding needed. I really can not stress this enough. Saving and building slowly on your own is also very good and should be part of your daily business financing. The Bank or Grant folks like to know your in it to win!. Let the membership know how you made out. easy-lift guy
  2. Sam go for it. As suggested come to court dressed and prepared for court. I believe she will have her chance to give her side of the case first and your best bet is to politely listen and take notes. I would not allow her to play the emotion card with you. Observe the 3 C's meaning cool, calm, and collective. Do not interrupt her presentation, after she has presented her case your up at bat and remember stick to the facts and don't waste the courts time let her do that. You will both have a chance after your presentations to go at it, just remember do not go to her level. She is more than likely banking on it. Been there and done that and I did win except the $$$$ was 10 times what your suing for and I won! easy-lift guy
  3. CTS I believe you are correct. The smartest monetary decision for the UK was not to sell out the Pound, once upon a time. The Second smartest thing the UK could do soon is drop out of the EU as well. Since the EU Has no single governing authority to answer to but a collection of countries or states each with a different means of dealing with Social welfare programs and the like the EU IMO has been doomed from the start. How much longer Germany/France allow the bleeding to continue remains to be seen?. easy-lift guy
  4. Of course all of the wood was about the same size and type, I agree with tree monkey about the grained wood like the Live oak here in Florida!. That I would have liked to seen. easy-lift guy
  5. Apbell, could you tell us how you really feel? easy-lift guy
  6. I will be curious about your type of fuel mix?. Will you go with the Aspen product or will you choose the manufacturer suggest product?. How about type of fuel ethanol free gas or ethanol gas, Inquiring minds on the other side of the pond would like to know?, All the best. easy-lift guy
  7. I believe you are spot on Mike. That Euro cart is really going to be expensive to maintain. elg
  8. Any labor savings device that can move that much equipment and pick up Poo at the same time is a BONUS:lol: easy-lift guy
  9. Being an informed consumer for your industry is very commendable. Make sure that what ever you secure your completely happy with. A week or Two ago a young girl had purchased a load of kit that was suggested by her instructor and I guess was more advanced for her use and knowledge. Perhaps it was a poor investment and the instructor should have left the suggestions of what to buy for the suppliers?. In any event ask the suppliers for their customers opinions as well, I am sure they will be all to willing to provide references of their better customers. All the best. easy-lift guy
  10. Really informed post on this thread. I believe Germany will have to in time give up the Euro and France will have to follow suit as well. The creation of the EU IMO seems to have been one of the worst Ponzi schemes in the latter stages of the 20th century to the present. Germany did the print as much as possible back in the 20's and I do not believe they will return to the same failed plan again. In any economy Two or Three countries can not support the economies of the balance of the Euro Family. I have watched our own market here in the US destroyed by the present renter of 1600 PA. Ave. and the presses are still continuing to roll out more $$$$$ for additional failed economic policies. Government can't not make jobs as a matter of fact but if the Private sector were allowed to be free of government BC than most economies would over time heal them self's. Don't see that happening any time soon, guess that why we still have elections for a better chance at a better life, I guess? easy-lift guy
  11. I am sure that there are rules and regs. for peaceful assembly in your country as here in America. That being said when the news crews are there and the malcontents and the like wish to mix it up with the Police all bets are off and it's Clobbering Time, esp when there is injury and destruction of property. easy-lift guy
  12. No problem David just triggered my response and since I have family in the health care field here in the states I have seen to many DIY capers go bad. Take care. easy-lift guy
  13. I do not believe it will lower the price of Kit and anyone or country holding Euro debt like Germany better hold on tight. If Germany had it bad exchanging 3 WG Marks for every EGM once upon a time continuing to shore up and watch the Euro crash and burn will be more than Germany and to a lesser extent France bargined for. easy-lift guy
  14. IMO the impact will be mainly felt by the countries holding the most debt like France/Germany. If the UK is holding any Euro debt that will have to be written off or absorbed somehow by the UK economy. The fact that the UK had enough Guts and Brains to not get suckered into giving up the Pound is the biggest reason why The UK will fare much better than all other nations that were willing to sell them selfs off for a Union not base on any sound monetary policy. easy-lift guy
  15. David/Peter, The Liability I was referring to having someone stitch up my hand even though they were a "medical student" is what concerns me. Lets say David had a really nasty cut on his hand and a friend offered to stitch up the wound, the procedure was done and David went about his day to day and than a few weeks later due to no additional follow up or meds administered to take care of any infection that may creep up Poor old David has a nasty staff infection. Maybe David was unlucky or maybe the staff infection had it out for him but in either case a visit to the doctor would have been first and foremost to put my mind at ease. Sorry I live in such a litigious society but reality being fact more times than not I prefer to side with the professionals first. The case about the child suing the parents is not even relative and IMO the judge handling the case should have thrown out said case before it wasted the courts time/money. Friends helping friends is one thing and since it was not disclosed at the beginning of this thread that said medical student was a "qualified doctor" my reply was based on the information posted. I am sure the next time a tree needs to be taken down and a student of Arboriculture drops it on your house or car all you have to say is that's OK I know you were only trying to help. Since life on a day to day basis is interesting enough I choose common sense as my guide and leave the "that's so American" and Chill pill consumers for everyone else to deal with. All the best. easy-lift guy
  16. Most trees are very resilient and with enough careful pruning/fertilization and time, the trees should reorient them self's well enough. You will be pressing cider in no time! easy-lift guy.
  17. This seems to be a novel ability that your wife has, however my only concern is liability. Regardless how well intended the care offered is, I would choose to leave it for a professional. Less drama, less what if's. easy-lift guy
  18. That protocal is sound and I can believe it would help with the over all plan of control, not mentioned in the story so who really knows what's up? easy-lift guy
  19. Try a bungie cord, unless they can chew thru it I would like to see them cope with the spring action. easy-lift guy
  20. Just curious how many cases of Dendroctonus ponderosae have been recorded in this neck of the woods ie. how far back to the present? easy-lift guy
  21. Just read the story, I suspect with no protocal in place to prevent additional spreading of the spores this will be as effective as pounding SALT. IMO I believe it will acheive nothing and allow the virus to continue to spread. easy-lift guy.
  22. Since the unemployment is very high here ATM most of the excess south of the boarder folks are back in Mexico since Mexico has about 5% unemployment ATM. I hope they will remain there and build a better country for their people. Only time and the economy will tell. easy-lift guy
  23. That will do it!, Take care. easy-lift guy

  25. Most if not all South of the border are very hard workers, however due to their culture and not wanting to appear weak or smart amongst their peers can and will work much harder than they have to. I believe a lot has to due with their height and desire to not speak a second language like English. easy-lift guy
