  1. Wee Dee, How about experienced Newbie? easy-lift guy
  2. Thanks, kimtree The belt is still in very good condition and functions well for my needs at this time. One day it will be retired for the shelf. easy-lift guy
  3. Took a look at the Hayes Otoupalik site and that belt looks pretty close except my waist belt is adjustable with Brass hard wear. It appears to be made of the same material and the OD color is spot on. Perhaps some handy person created a climbing belt or linesman belt out of the original design?. Thanks straight fell my belt maybe has been ID'ed. easy-lift guy:thumbup1:
  4. Welcome Red: I believe you will be among very good company. easy-lift guy
  5. Perhaps once you have determined who owns the property that the tree was located on you may be able to file a claim against that persons homeowners policy for losses sustained. I do not know how helpful the tree report may be with your claim esp. if the report is inconclusive. I wish you the best with your investigation. easy-lift guy
  6. Granddad that was funny:lol:
  7. There is no print or labels. I think Klein would have had something at least on the buckle it to has no markings?. easy-lift guy
  8. WeeDee I still use it out of a bucket and with a little bit of climbing while tieing into a trunk. Still works well and will be using tomorrow for a reduction on a Loquat tree.
  9. Thanks all and no its not a contest with a prize, just curious. easy-lift guy
  10. Greetings fellow members. I was wondering if anyone can id this belt. I still use it and have never seen one like it before?. Perhaps Grand dad can ID the belt? Thanks e:thumbup1:asy-lift guy
  11. IMO this job based on the specs listed is really a whopper! I could not begin to try to price a job like this and even if your plant material did survive which I believe most would not, I would find it difficult to believe you could possible profit from such a job. I believe you would do yourself better and decline this offer and move on to greener pastures. easy-lift guy
  12. Them crafty Americans!,what will they think of next? Thanks for sharing NI trees. easy-lift guy
  13. Or you could check out my thread entitled Means & methods of protecting your Kit from theft. I believe I covered larger equipment as well. easy-lift guy
  14. I guess the Ivy has been cut and the roots removed?, if that be the case no need for Round-up. easy-lift guy
  15. If you have cut all of the stems I would treat them with Round-up and allow the balance on the wall to die a slow death. I guess your not wanting the material to return?. Depending on your time frame the longer you give it time to dry out the easier it will be to remove. Otherwise I am not aware of any chemical that can speed up the process. I guess you will have to ask your insurance agent about coverage past gutter level, don't have that type of restriction over here. easy-lift guy
  16. Yes I have and in the city Buildings and cars and people out number trees about 10,000 to one. Like I said central park has more trees surrounded by buildings than any wear else, if your out side the five burrows you will encounter lots of trees, not so much in the city proper. easy-lift guy
  17. Congrats Sir, Make sure you print this thread and give it to him in Twenty years along with the keys to the business, He will have earned it by than, for sure. easy-lift guy
  18. ursorox, FYI you won't find to many trees in NYC proper unless you go into Central park, and even than I think you will find a little bit of resistance from them city park folks. Enjoy your stay in the USA. easy-lift guy
  19. And than all at once for no apparent reason the system will collapse and the technocrats will wonder went wrong and than anyone in charge that's left will call out for an investigation and next time there will be twice a much paper work! It is a shame there is so much repetition and duplication for the sake of so many folks that would have a life otherwise for the sake of having a Job?. easy-lift guy
  20. Regrettably, the insurance companies have nearly all of us by the short hairs. Going on your parents insurance may be your only viable option ATM, I know that was what I had to do and when I turned 21 I was on my own. Still cost more due to my age/gender but that was due to the odds against the house ie. the insurance company. The house does not like to loose any bets, hence the premium is so much higher. easy-lift guy
  21. I believe you will have to wait a bit longer your age group and gender are working against you ATM. easy-lift guy.
  22. Thank's all it was and always will be my pleasure. Best regards. Ted
  23. parasitic relationship, grows on most things over here untill their dead than find something else to cling on. easy-lift guy
  24. Welcome James from the other side of the pond. I wish you all the best with your chosen profession. easy-lift guy
  25. I would try visiting the ISA site for suppliers for the state of NY or the TCIA and narrow your search from there. easy-lift guy
