  1. Thanks,Glad my Father/Uncle's could contribute and live to tell about it. easy-lift guy
  2. Stalin could afford to let Germany over run all of that land with no way to control what one occupies, he played Hitler for the fool due to his ego and the German General Staff sold out the German people long before Stalingrad. A few brave German officers tried and failed to stop Hitler. And finally I will be able to go to sleep knowing why in part this thread was started. easy-lift guy
  3. That was a training exercise for things to come. Stalin had no intentions on showing his hand any sooner than he had to. He allowed Hitler to control the war with his ego and disregarded the advise of his generals. Once Stalin could count on continued support from the UK/USA it was only a matter of time before Germany was defeated. I still wondering what this thread has to do with WSC declaring bankruptcy in 1938?. Luftwaffe if you can't tell me why can some one else? though not normally. easy-lift guy
  4. Thanks Alek that explanation works for me. easy-lift guy
  5. Funny and tragic how things work out over time Matty, thanks for your complement about the Polish esp. due to my blood line. I have little or no doubt who's side America finally wanted to side with after Pearl Harbor and TBH Our Merchant marine service suffered very badly at the hands of the German Navy before Germany declared war against the USA. FDR was playing both sides of the card between the UK and USSR for future political situations that were to take place, some did and some did not. I believe the Euro will in time fade away and as I have stated before the smartest thing for the UK to have done was to not surrender the Pound for a fanasty know as the Euro, BTW I am still trying to figure out how this thread has any thing to do with WSC filing bankruptcy in 1938? easy-lift guy
  6. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Sir. easy-lift guy
  7. No need to apologize, I was mainly referring to non-British personnel that served during this period of time. I counted a total of 462 from at least 14 countries. Your stats regarding the number of pilots from America is more than likely correct. We did our best to make up for the difference after 7-12-41:thumbup: easy-lift guy
  8. To my knowledge the organization still exist and has branches thru out the US. easy-lift guy
  9. Let's not forget that there were many countries taking part in that air action against Germany, including members of the Eagle Squadron from USA and famous from 633 Squadron.
  10. Please enlighten the membership, inquiring minds want to know! easy-lift guy
  11. Nice Rig!, Congrats. Now off to work. easy-lift guy
  12. Willow over here grows way to fast and is very brittle, might be good for switches for tanning ones bottom otherwise I would not use for firewood. easy-lift guy
  13. Please define "weaker root system", "non-invasive", perhaps things are different here in the States when it comes to planting material over top of a Septic System or Drain field?. If some one was to try something like that here lets say in Florida, the results if the material surivied would be disasterous for the home owner is short order:thumbdown: The Septic tank and drain field have a specific purpose to collect and disperse sludge. Why would anyone wish to plant anything over top of or near a Septic system is Please try to convince me of another point of view concerning this serious problem maker. easy-lift guy
  14. The natural inclination of a tree or any other type of planted material is to seek food and water to survive. That is a fact. Now your customer:001_rolleyes: who have had a laurel tree that has damage the Septic tank want another type of tree that will not be to invasive:lol: Tell you what, try to explain to your customer how much more important it is not to have their Septic system further destroyed by planting additional trees. It sound's like you will have a tough sell, however when the Septic system is completely compromised and needs to be replaced the cost and inconvenience of this expense will hit their budget pretty hard. I would suggest a Gazebo with some nice hanging baskets of flowers or some potted plants. easy-lift guy
  15. Many Happy Returns, Hamadryad, I post why to Mark Bolem. easy-lift guy
  16. It was a mistake with the ArbTalk chat line, I tried to log in and was not able to so Fearless leader Steve Bulman was forced to ban or deleat my info and reinsert same and everything was fine after that. Hope that answered the question that has kept so many awake for so long. easy-lift guy:thumbup1:
  17. Many happy returns chainsawdom and born to trot. easy-lift guy:thumbup1:
  18. I would loan that easy-lift guy half of it right away to continue to expand the market base and R/D for his product. The other half I would invest in seasonal rental properties to handle the snow birds that migrate to the Sunshine State every season. easy-lift guy ps, where did you get that 100K Pounds?
  19. In the event that the "big man " needs to have his bond posted to get out of jail, let me know. I would love to see a video of the "big man" verses horsey lady. Keep me posted. easy-lift guy
  20. Wishing all members a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Ted:thumbup1:
  21. I believe the issue is between the owner of the property and the renter or "horsey-lady". Although you wish to continue to serve your customer for the present and the future, IMO he has left you to deal with a situation that should be his responsibility to address in the first place being the land owner. Based on your description of the "horsey-lady I believe a sit down with all Three parties is in order. If no decision can be reached after such a meeting politely excuse yourself from this project. Common sense may prevail after this meeting. If not I would not spend any more additional emotional capital to resolve the matter which is clearly between the owner/ "horsey-lady". easy-lift guy easy-lift guy
  22. There is nothing to be confuse about when it comes to chain saws. The key is proper/regular maintenance. Weather it be new or used the saw will most all the time do what it is supposed to do in the first place as long as it is properly maintained and not abused. If you can only afford a secondhand saw just keep up with the maintenance and save what ever you can for a replacement in the future. Keep the faith, stay warm! easy-lift guy
