  1. Do they actually make the trailed splitters themselves? Looks like a standard chinese design?
  2. Bought some LED worklights off ebay this week, they came in the post today. Advertised as 27w On the multimeter they're actually just 12.6w! Cheap though
  3. Another option is a second trailer socket - ie a grey caravan one. On a box trailer I had years ago I had reverse lights, work lights switchable from the drivers seat, interior strip lighting, and even a camera on the back of the trailer, all running through a 2nd plug and socket
  4. In my mind, someone selling such a volume of nearly new petrol power tools etc, from a home address with no business seller information, and asking for cash payment, doesn't seem legit and should be avoided with a bargepole.
  5. For future reference, Tayna batteries have a battery finder, enter the dimensions of the tray and it will list ones of a similar size. https://www.tayna.co.uk/tools/battery-wizard
  6. This thread is funny The best set up for you for now would be do your CBT and get a moped
  7. Another option might be a tracker, I think some of them can show whether the engine is running etc
  8. I'm only here for the banter
  9. Not much, just a couple bits to drop off at the scrappy on the way past
  10. Does anyone on here need a 3 phase extension lead for their firewood machinery? I have one surplus, can't say for sure it works as I don't have 3 phase to try it on, but it looks ok. 15m long yellow cable, 5 core plug and socket at either end.
  11. Another thing I forgot to say, some LED lights give off really bad "noise" - FM radio interference. Think it's possibly the driver not the actual LEDs. Adding ferrite coils helps slightly
  12. Lots of it round here at the moment, most goes for firewood, this was a 10t load, with stuff up to about 2ft diameter
  13. Since you already have the greenmech cs100, maybe buy something to tow it with? Mower, quad, power barrow, track barrow, whatever other item you would use the most
  14. One thing to watch is whether the lights are sold as spot or flood beam (or you can get bars with a mix), and which type you actually need. Bare in mind a lot of sellers on ebay etc lie about wattage and lumens so you can't rely on the quoted specs. And no point in having a massive lamp for lighting up just infront of you, it will dazzle and kill your nightvision
  15. ^There talks a man with experience! Even self seeded saplings, they look good outside, but time you get them in the house it looks like a Tesco value Xmas
  16. I got one from Toolstop earlier in the year, think there was a discount code, then a deal on a pack of 3 diamond blades, and it was just over £400 saw and blades. I've used toolstop a few times, always good prices and very good service https://www.toolstop.co.uk/makita-ek6100-petrol-disc-cutter-12-2-stroke-61cc-p63394 It says out of stock on the site, maybe give them a call? As for the saw itself, it seems good to me, and for what I use it for will last me a lifetime
  17. Which part of the country is home for you?
  18. Yes, no quick hitch as I'm a peasant! The machine doesn't get much use, mainly just at home. I got the digbits thumb as I seen their bigger versions on a mates diggers. It's well designed and strudy, but I thought the finish was terrible. Covered in weld spatter and sharp edges?
  19. Finally got round to getting a thumb for the wee digger
  20. Big bits of elm today, and that time of year again, working in the dark
  21. It's ok 2nd saw got squashed anyway?
  22. I don't really need it, but I've always wanted a husky 346
  23. And it's not even halloween!
  24. Log Pinching Goblin
  25. There's a lot of dead elm round here at the minute Was splitting some fresh copper beach last week (garden tree so knarly), that was a harder than I thought it would be
