  1. The Kaaz mowers (kubota is one) are good strong machines. Bit of a faff to swap in and out of mulching though
  2. Some rare bits of kits for sale http://implements.frasersauctionroom.co.uk/sales/173 The old county crawler has been parked in that spot out the front of the building for as long as I can remember, atleast 10-15 years.
  3. At that kinda height, I wonder if they were potato bags?
  4. Cheers, yes it's just the ticket! The vid is from last winter, the machine has had a few small tweaks since then She was out today in tandem with the circular saw
  5. As far as I know it is the exact same one as your link. I'm trying to clear out the shed, so pay for the postage, and a few beers token for me, and it'd be yours!
  6. Don't buy the flowfit valve it's cheap rubbish I will sell you a broken flowfit one if you like though It works fine, just the cover on the end is broken, and it's had about a dozen different homemade handles as they don't last long It would be very cheap though!!
  7. Surely so long as it's been in a kiln at somepoint it will always be "kiln dried" - even if it's floating about in a pond
  8. I don't mind human waste too much, I have rodded plenty of drains and poked round in many septic tanks. Dog poo is much worse. And hitting wildlife with a strimmer is never nice I always wear a helmet with full face plastic visor when strimming.
  9. My first "proper" job was a season at the council. There was an old boy there who would crack open the Tennents Super at 10am and be on it for the rest of the day!
  10. You need to go on the page and click something like "why am I seeing this" then disable viglink
  11. Don't know if it's any good - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ochsenkopf-OX-172-0500-Hand-Pickaroon/dp/B004IZ4Q4O
  12. Yes that's the one. Tell them to buy their own pickaroon! Maybe they will look after it then
  13. I've got a german one, says "Bison" on the side, came from ebay or amazon - it seems fine?!
  14. Think they like the damp, there's one here about the size of a large van!!
  15. I started out with a small compressor which was ok but the best thing I did was buy the biggest compressor you can run off a 13amp plug, think the tank is 100 or 150l, and belt driven
  16. Did it really reduce the size though? Seems easier to lob it straight on a compost pile! Also bit of a risk with stones etc The last hedge I cut I blew the trimmings straight back under
  17. The main advantage of a wee chipper is leaving the chip in situ Bare in mind hedge cuttings, prunings etc aren't something you can really feed through a chipper
  18. Looks like wild haggis, which is completely different to the raw haggis you get in the supermarkets, especially when raw.
  19. Yes, it's just the ticket. She got a day out to the Isle of Skye today
  20. Wonder if you could improve on that idea with a bathroom extractor fan and length of flexi hose?
  21. There's Wee Jim on here, 20 miles away in Ballater, if that's close enough
  22. Thanks Openspaceman and Stock, got round to fitting the rapid extend valve today, as the flowfit one needed replaced. Seems to be pretty sturdy Tried to get a video of it showing high speed and normal speed
  23. Not used them, but try Scotbark. https://www.scotbarkuk.com/
