  1. cherry picker mounted on to a datsun cabstar i believe.
  2. looks good. renault/iveco 5.5 tonner ?
  3. ok in my extensive experience with the new small Haesckler, the older Greenmech GMR100 and the later Greenmech CS100 as i have used them all. The Haesckler is more of a gardeners / hobby / low volume / infrequent use machine. Remember my mate bought a brand new 1 a few months ago and i have used it. It is not as 'heavy duty' in my opinion and having done some serious hours on the Greenmechs over the last couple of years i reckon i know my onions. The Greenmechs are easier to move about as the design is better thought out and seriously robust. I might sound like i'm 'dissing' the Haesckler but from an arb point of view i have to be realistic and honest with experiences. If i had the need to buy a micro chipper tomorrow and had enuf money ferra new Haesckler i would buy a used 18HP CS100. I cannot comment on the Jo Beau as i've not owned or used 1 but i can tell you they are they are at the upper end in terms of quality and ability.
  4. yep i too was hoping to find the new CS2510T fer under £300 but alas no.
  5. Bob won't buy that as it's no old skool enuf and cud cost he a mint in diagnostics and repairs if it went Tats up.
  6. Beau, without wanting to sound arsey you need to complain in the appropiate manner and hopefully get a some headway with Isuzu UK, or get a full/partial refund and they take the truck back. Wifey ahd mega issues with a brand new Audi TT back in 2000/1, she knew how to draft a 'well written' letter(s) of complaint to the head of Audi UK and he sat up and took note as She was gonna have a banner made up and park it on their forecourt stating it was the worst car she had ever owned. They did her a great deal on another brand new 2002 TT but this too had issues but no where near as bad as the first car, in the end she had them over a barrel and got the vast majority of her money back. Good luck with it man.
  7. Stihl chain 'seems' to be made from a better quality steel, might be just my take on it as i don't know alot about chain technology, but after running a Husky 395xp on 3/8'' stihl chain it just felt sublime compared to some oregon chains i had tried.
  8. so what size chain is now on the tiny echo Essential, i take it that it is now a smaller gauge so will absolutely fly ?
  9. Ben, Ken Here. Check yer private messages.

  15. My 360TES sports the same setup as R Mac albeit in 14'' guise.
  16. cheers Max, £335 all in is good. oil be buying either a stihl MS150T or this new Echo soon. I too would like a small carving bar and it's associated small gauge chain on the Echo.
  17. no help but is there a girl in a flat bed Ford slowin' down and takin a look at me ?
  18. I have no vested interest in this company and i have no idea what they are like to deal with in terms of processing a claim. I can say they bent over backwards to get my business when it came to me insuring the transit tipper and my tricky to insure Imported pickup. On the pickup alone i saved £345 over my renewal premium with NFU on both vehicles i have saved about £700 approx ! might be worth considering come renewal time. Regards, W
  19. My chipper destroyed it's blades and anvil last week in spectacular fashion. I had Mark on site grounding fer me along with anudder chap and my machine expired after only 5 mins of use. I nearly cried when i heard that ominous sound of the blades getting smashed up as the flywheel rotated at full pelt! A credit to markieg31 who came back to site (quite a drive from his base) on a sunday to chip up all the brash and take all the wood chip away for me. Very much appreciated as i was in a bind with the customers garden stacked high with ash and conifer brash and they were keen to pay me but i wouldn't accept the cheque until the garden was cleared and left immaculate. Cheers Mark. Just waiting on the quote for new parts to come in via email now:001_rolleyes:
  20. good luck with testing Colwoodlandcare
  21. how heavy is the swing shovel and trailer combo i wonder ? gotta love landies lugging abilities.
  22. i bin tinkin' along the same lines as yew but i'd like to be able to swap it atween me transit and 4be4 pickup. reckon a portable, petrol powered capstan winch would be more useful to me though. good luck.
  23. love threads loike dis as i'm ferever trying different glove types and recommendation is the way forward.
  24. I'm On my way to 'collect' your chipper John!
  25. savage winds and rain battering my patio doors as i type (that is not a euphemism!) and i'm wondering if me greenhouses are gonna withstand the onslaught (we are over 700 feet above sea level and very exposed). Had to cancel tomorrows ash reduction as it's too stormy and risky.
