  5. Looking forward to it.

    Tray

is it to store the combi cans on ? If so you can use a plastic recycling container.
  8. yep that's a fair call Mick, well said. I'm not one to shy away from phoning or even knocking on a door to see if they have accepted my quote, after all it's generally us Guys and Gals that are just as tentative/shy about being seen to be 'chasing work' as it is for a customer to have to call back and say 'we have chosen someone else'. Just keep it professional and turn the udder cheek:laugh1:
  9. Fitted the optional 'spiked bumper' (felling dog) to my 2510, the part number is in the supplied owners handbook. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zkantmvoywgjd6q/20160501_113725.jpg?dl=0
  10. some i chase, some i don't. Did some tree work fer a couple from Yorkshire* a few weeks back and was asked to quote on reducing some limbs on a large ash tree. I verbally quoted there and then and they wandered off in to the house ferra few minutes. When they came back out and said well 'seeing as you don't charge VAT and the other quote we've had does include VAT, will you reduce your price to match the other quote minus the VAT as your wanting to charge us more money?' I said no and they looked a bit perplexed and pished off, i explained i do this type of work for profit and not simply a days wage. They persisted in trying to haggle me down and i asked the Gent if he'd like to go and do his job for a day but earn 40% less than normal ? He looked a bit uncomfortable and had a nervous laugh about it, i shook their hand's and took my payment for the work i had done. Drove by a few times recently as it's near where i live and the work is still not done. I didn't chase these people up ! * I got no problem with anyone from Yorkshire!
  11. Is there a parts list available fer the 2510 TES yet, anyone got one ?
  12. Tink you've answered your own question really.
  13. Fer sale in Tadley too!
  14. some pics make it easier to understand. When ya look into the oil tank you can see where the vent hole terminates inside the tank itself. The oiler on the 360 is also adjustable.
  15. Hello, if yew remove the flywheel side cover there is a tiny breather hole that vents the oil tank. Beware there is a tiny rubber O ring which partially seals the vent hole, it is held in situ when the side cover is screwed back into place. I simply empty the oil tank and carefully push a tiny allen key thru the blocked up O ring (shaped like a tiny donut) and vent hole, sometimes you will actually hear the air rush out as you clear the vent. Also on my 360TES the oil cap has a round rubber O ring that comes out of place sometimes when i unscrew the cap to refill, i simply push it back into place as i reckon oil will leak out along the threads of the cap if the O ring is lost. I too seem to find some oil residue around the base of the saw and was concerned it might be leaking but i never found a reason for it as it's no big deal.
  16. rotflmao!
  17. If it actually has one it'll be located over the exit hole of the exhaust and shud be easy to see.
  18. wonder if Mendiplogs will buy 1 of these....!
  19. same here, opened the box and removed the saw followed swiftly by the spark screen so i dunno what it performs like with it in situ. Also removed the exhaust (3 bolts) for a peak at the exhaust port. I was surprised at how heavy the exhaust is and i suspect it has a 'cat' ceramic matrix like the Echo 360 TES has. Just looking at the exit hole on the exhaust itself you can see there are simple gains to be had by enlarging it with a grinder if you feel the need, but i don't. I Love this little saw and it's sleeping atween me and the missus instead of our cat till the novelty factor wears off:001_smile:
  20. I assumed all jap 4X4's had rear leaf springs.
  21. Is that the Navara replacement or are the 2 models running alongside one another ? Looks very nice.
  22. really glad to hear it has been returned.
  23. Maxnaggle, cud ya cut a slot into the H screw with a small dremel grinding wheel or is it too tight on the access front ?
