  1. unsure of the year but it's a 024 woodboss on the pull cord side it says 'made in west germany' she's old but keeps running, never doesn't start and it's all made of metal!!!

I have always used husqvarna's xp synthetic oil, i have been told its better at lubricating the bearings and engine better and keeps engine temp down a little more, than a standard mineral based oil.. and i haven't had any saw problems ever!! with regards to it seizing.. i think it's more down to percentages in my opinion.. i run them all at 40-1 hope this helps..   4. The freshly chipped mulch would still contain nutrients aswell as retaining moisture , that can go back into the ground!! as for sugar the trees rhizomorphs break it down and convert it to energy.. if i can remember from my college days!!
  5. A mate of mine has fitted a disco 2 tdv6 into his 90 including the gearbox!! had to have a 2inch body lift and fit the new buldge bonnet.... frickin sweet truck!

    I have had my Hunter balmoral neoprene for 4 years now!! they are very good for the money.. i paid around £100 for mine, warm and good grip!!

  8. Hi Steve hope you don't mind me asking, i was taking a look at your bench thread and noticed you saying that the 346xp orange side was for sale. A mate of mine is looking for a little ground saw have you sold it already? if not do you have a price?? further more could you also give me a price on porting my 338xpt please it's just over a year old!! many thanks.Shaun.

  11. I have a mate just come out of being a barman, started doing gardening for domestic clients... he charges £15 p/h.. NO quals no nout... I have done things the correct way ...college... nptc's the works.. and i come out with £9 p/h. And i supply my own saws,rigging kit, climbing kit, ppe... it does get me a little peeved when i think about it but that's just life i think.

  14. I have 235/85.16's on my 90, the drivers side wheel on full lock catch's the radious arm on full lock.. left hand down. and i'm on BFG A/T'S, other than that no problems.......
  15. mine is a 200tdi 90 and mine's doing about 30 to 35 mpg on bfg all terrain

  20. I use & abuse my husky 33xpt it's no where nere as bad as what people make it out to be!! i use it the most in the tree, for other stuff i use the 455 rancher on 18' mega saw, though i do also like my little 240 it's a grunty little bugger!!
  21. The best band in my eyes are Radiohead.... i think they cover every base.. i also like the pixies and and folk music bands such as band of horses, iron & wine and bon iver..
  22. Shades of green in warrington is doing these at 170 + vat.. a lad from college has bought some they do seem very nice!! but it's steins build qauilty that i'm worried about!!

I must admit.. i love the idea of a kelly kettle but as for on the job it's a wee impractical!! my girlfriend bought me a berghaus flask last christmas!! it's the dogs danglies... i make it at 7am and the odd times i don't use it ( due to client bringing us tea) i may take one cup out of it!! it's still boiling hot at 6- half 6pm.. just a mega flask
