I have the cheapest one that halfords sell and it does everything i ask think its a garmin has a tiny screen and lacks a few features but it works for whatever i want Was 50 quid
  2. If its double acting yes it could control the grab or rotate and if a timber grab that swings the other function could be controlled from tee ing into the bucket ram Alternatively an electronic diverter valve couldbe mounted on the boom thats operated by a button on the joystick this would mean when the button is pressed moving the joystick would operate an auxiliary circuit this is how the auxiliary works on a loader tractor
  3. Compression isnt always enough definitely isnt on a tired 880 so may not be on a 660 last one i took apart had to use a 2 foot bar to get it off
  4. The locking up sounds like the piston topping out against the plastic tool like its meant to to stop the crank turning you can now put a socket on it and undo it off of the crankshaft
  5. You could try wetterlings as well if you want a nice axe

    Best axes.

I dont know if anyone on here has tried it but my boss tought me to lat with a side axe The crancked handle keeps you hands out the way better the head is thin and long and it is the right weight that if can be used for everything so no need to swap from an axe to a billhook Im by no means professional at this its just what i was taught to use and i found it very easy to use
  7. You can operate the brakes off of a spool valve just screw a male coupling in place of the brake coupling just remember to put the valve in float to move if there is no spare valve put an isolater switch on both hoses and switch when u wish to break
  8. If you want a real beast there are these 500cubic meters an hout i think it is Continental Biomass Industries, Inc. | CBI Horizontal Grinders | Whole Tree Chippers | A Terex Brand
  9. Ive used them for kubota parts and they are spot on sorced parts of a 20 something old machine within a couple of days for us

  11. Is this just for a phone or other things too ?? I have a Bluetooth speaker from halfords with a built in microphone just clips to the sun visor of whatever im driving or if out the machine can clip to my jacket was only 20 quid and is brilliant
  12. Paid 65-70 for a set of four of ebay plus beer tokens to the local tire place to fit Thats for 265 75 r 15 i think The bfgs wernt available in that exact size but the general grabers in the same pattern where 135 ithink and the bfg in the next nearest size where similar
  13. I have yokohama geolander at fitted to my ranger and am very happy with them They get very good reviews and not quite as eyewateringly expensive as bfg at nearly half the price
  14. Dakine make a backpack designed for carrying a chainsaw on mountain bike trails or at least they did Had a sheath init for the bar and straps for the engine
  15. Wasnt there a member on here who documented all the upgrades required to make it usable due to poor welding and to thin materials used in paces think it was on the stabiliser legs and crane It may be a different traailer but think it was a riko fast tow
  16. There is honestly no need to play that trick on the ranger engines u honestly wont believe how easy it is to to Is honestly just a case of lining a couple of painted on marks up No timing tools required and as it is just a drive from the crank to the cam there is nothing else driven A professional mechanic should be able to do it in 10 minutes a complete novice should be no longer than 20 there isnt anything to get in the way either with loads of accesss
  17. Depending on location you could speak to lgpeddie on here His Kubota is pretty much designed for this kind of work
  18. It does look a very nice machine One thing to be aware of atm is if looking for an ex farm machine the single farm payment is delayed so alot of farms will be holding of on replacing taractors until that is in the bank may be best to wait a few months when the sfp arrives there may be a few more machines on the market 5
  19. The British construction equipment forum currently has a good thread going currently on the same topic with links to a good selection of links for machines that would suit you
  20. Check for the ford courier its the same truck for the us and australasian market Or mazda b2500 there all the same truck
  21. Takes 15 mins take the plastic cover off No injection pump to worry about as its electric just makesure the 2 white marks on the crankshaft and the two yellow marks on the cam shaft line up fit the new belt and replace the plastic cover hob done
  22. I think a whole plug and play system is available from caravan places that should incorporate everything
  23. You could fit a battery on the trailer and a trickle charger from the lights on the 7 pin plug if you dont want to mess with the truck
  24. Have you looked at hyundai terracan's Mitsubishi shoguns Kia sorentos And if you like the navara why not a pathfinder Or just kit the navara out with a rear canopy fully sealed with the carpet interior makes a very nice load bed

    Avant 420?

Tbh although he could of used the telescopic boom to lift the front axle on i think the video actually just shows the shortcomings of not having a swinging rear axle or an oscillating joint Swing rear axle is in my opinion the best option i find the more stable than an oscilating joint machine but either is better than nothing I think the weiderman and schaffer or kramer machines look a better option as you sit on the rear part of the machine wich is far better when manoeuvring although the machine is taller so you loose some stability which would be easily enough cured with dual front tires
