  1. there all as bad as eachother they will not want it for ages and suddenly want 5 lorys in a day this is when producing 3-4 lorry loads a week you can try boomeco and aw jenkins but the best thing is to deal with as many as possible as none of them are reliable
  2. look for a a jcb 526s brilliant machines no electrics easy to work on and tolerate huge amounts of abuse they put any of jcbs current lineup to shame * * * JCB 526 FARM SPECIAL LOADALL TELEHANDLER * * * 530 70 520 TRACTOR LOADER | eBay or scrap the manoverability and just get a shovel JCB 412 FARM MASTER 4X4 PIVOT STEER ARTIC 1993 WHEELED LOADER TELESCOPIC HANDLER | eBay
  3. or greenfields woodwaste solotions ltd in bromley br2 8ll
  4. what about this not topnotch but a bit more to come back on in the event of failiure Sealey Micrometer Torque Wrench 1/2"Sq Drive Calibrated AK624 - Motamec.com or for pro tools PrimeTools.co.uk they even have made in uk king dick tools for realistic money
  5. i should think ud need this size machine to get the stability Yanmar C10R Ride on Tracked Dumper (Track mini engine digger) | eBay which might be a disadvantage in itself on the other hand it should be capable of mounting a small forestry crane on it and towing a trailer
  6. go slowly dont even try to speed up u can learn to do a job well but its very difficult to learn to do it quick that is something that comes wih practice. i was always told with machinery when learning take your time and just get very accurate and when you get good the speed will come naturally without damaging stuff
  7. thats only the arctic types such as jcb tm range or manitou mla series sideboom 4 wheel steer are ag machines no different to a combine spfh or sprayer
  8. done it but personally i think there horrid on the road without a trailer let alone with a trailer on know someone thats knackered a 13 plate jcb transmission overloading it and forgetting to change the transmission mode besides if looking for a machine that new i would not touch jcb with a barge pole horrid useless badly engineered piles of junk. the old 526 s machines are brilliant and put up with a lot of abuse but the modern ones feel like they came out a kinda egg
  9. We are looking for some to cut up rings ready for firewood production in bromley common for odd days here and there chainsaw supplied but u will require ppe contact mick on 07789907190
  10. go for a mazda b2500 esentially a ford ranger but attract less of a premium 2nd hand
  11. U can get joiners for them as they always split on our jenz and we just cut and rejoin I dont know who makes them as jenz gave them to us
  12. Better to put choker chains around the log over the head boardand onto the chassis lift the body which will drag the logs in and close the tail gate u could do large bundles at a time then
  13. about 60 cms is great if fiskars do them if not the new husqvarna axes are nice
  14. I wouldn't want to run anything on a pto that wasn't heavy enough to snap a shear pin or activate a slip clutch if the worst where to happen personally id have some kind of bar fitted between implement and pto to garuntee the pto is not being run at the rong angle or with to little sharft crossover
  15. in a thick dorset accent 'cor look at the front weight block on that' ever since a mate from dorset said it in all seriosness also facial expresions mimicking a bull when he gets the smell of a cow
  16. as in its legal to be on uk roads doesnt exceed size or weight rules (which are the same regardless of licence) and is in a safe condition with lights and appropriate brakes
  17. if u have a car licence u can tow any legal trailer behind a tractor if you have a tractor licence it has to be either single axle or twin axle with the axles together i.e. no dolly trailers
  18. shouldnt someone on site carry a phone at all times i would rather they did than think a groundie may have to fumble around looking for it in an emergency ive just got a pair of bib and brace overalls and the mid pocket is brilliant for phones and somewhere to keep a snack too or if im in the machine or tractor its in the cup holder so i can see the screen as i cant hear it ring
  19. you need decent blokes or theyll just sell the kit off the back of the vans as some gangs do
  20. Do u have any more details of this site or a contact number for them as weare not far
  21. they do several different dessighns now aswell ranging from £50 to £120
  22. trust me logs can bend the hardox tines havnt done any on the base but the one on the grab have a tendency oforking out if a ring gets wedged, extra long hardox tines on the base and heavy and the twin forks like on multipurpose skidsteer buckets would be ideal
  23. if it is of the desighn where the 4wd engages when you have your foor on the break you have to match up the wheels perfectly or ull cause damage to the system so ud require new fronts aswell and as said it depends if yours is done mechanically or by radar or no limiter
  24. i would deffinately recomend them over an i phone on build quality i think the operating systems are indifferent as both easy to use and work as they should but the build quality of iphones is shocking in comparison to the rest i would of thought the fact every iphone i can think of has a cracked screen would tell them to put the gorrilla glass in like all the other smartphones to atleast give u a slight chance of it being intact for more than 5 mins
  25. tech21 impact technology with the leather flip front on my full size s3 it good
