  1. i was wearing a graghoppers jacket today 1/2 price in tk max and kept me dry despite brushing up against stuff and it is rally strong material havn't managed to tear it yet
  2. paddock spares or cradock spares are both good for parts cheap to solve soft springs you can fit heavy duty springs fit internal springs as in the military vehicles or fit internal airbags the last one is my favorite as you can adjust them depending on the weight your carrying
  3. if landys are any good to you theres the defender centre they sometimes have ex utility vehicles
  4. it would not have to be raised if the sub frame for each part was next to the chassis rail rather than on it and refering to my other post l200 sigle cabs have the filler in the middle of the tub
  5. i have just had another two thoughts A) what would you do for fuel tanks on vehicles like the l200 B)if the body tips around a point above the chassis woldn't the part bellow that point foul the cab as it tipped
  6. would you leave the body as standard or would you modify it so you gain extra carrying capacity as the standard profiled bodys seem really uneconomical space wise
  7. these machines were getting on the mini digger was so worn it rolled down a shallow hill when it was left there
  8. stud extractors are £7 for a set of 5 on ebay they have a left hand thread so cut into the sides of the hole youve drilled as you turn it and undo the bolt if you need it soon g&m tools in horsham sell them
  9. if its a 3 cylinder diesel i think its a common problem i've seen several all on different pieces equipment (mobile weder, minidiggers and mowers) and they do the same fine for 20mins and then overheat
  10. nissan patrol ?? tow 3.5 tonne beam axles same as landy so good offroad with bonus of front limited slip differential and rear difflock and will seat 5 6'6 blokes comfortably if needed plus large loadspace with 3 extra spare seats

  13. your local farm supllies should stock agri enamel if you tell them the make they may even get you a colour match this is very hard wearing use an undercoat such as red oxide or hammerite and remove any rust first also modern enamels can be applied with paint rollers
  14. just a quick question are gloves catagorised in the same way as trousers as some seem to have a catagory and others don't yet they all conform to the same en specifacation harry
  15. can you guys not reregister your mogs as plant if agri is a problem similiar rules on red and transprting goods however it is clearly defined as a machine with sole purpose other than transporting goods some hiabs are registered as this aswell as some cherry pickers i think

  18. hi i'm starting a forestry and arb course in september and we are required to have ppe i thought i'd start looking now as i'm 6'4 and know some things like this can be a pain to get hold of so i was wondering if any one can point me in the direction of a size chart for the SIP talfit trousers and wondering if there are companys other than SIP and stretch air that do tall fit trousers i was also wondering if anyone could tell me if many places stock size 14 boots or whether these will have to be ordered in thanks harry
