  5. i have always been brought up to work really hard by my dad any day of was spent with him since i was 5 and even then i was expected to help in some way and was always told i'd get a thick ear or no dinner if i didn't and even though it would never happen i still helped doing little jobs like fetching nuts and bolts my friends know i am going to college next year i get so much ridicule for wanting to do a practical job and not become a music director or artist one guy i know is persistant that anyone can drive machines or work hard but i know that he would be utterly hopeless and lazy then he says that i should not be trusted with the machines at work even though i have been driving them since i was 5 and that if he did the job he could be trusted with them and do a better job and this caomes from loads of people they don't think these jobs take skill and practice and some of it natural talent coupled with the fact i have to sit through atleast 2 assemblys a week telling me you arn't worth anything if you don't have a gap year then spend one day a week at university until your 23
  6. if towing 2 with a tractor 1 has to be empty atleast that was the rules it allows farmers to tow a trailer and implement such as forage harvester and trailer or bailer and trailer i'm not sure what the rules would be if you did something like put a pick up hitch on a 3 point linkage chipper i think this would be different

  17. smart looking truck could anyone tell me the dimensions for the rear body please are they as big as 6ft by 10ft if not would it be possible to fit this size thanks
  18. for the parts i think it would be very complicated as it it would involve new gearbox then makeing a path for the prop to the rear and then installing a rear axle out off something rear wheel drive youd probally want an lsd diff in it aswell and imo the sprinter is nowhere near as good as the vw transporter the vw is much better quality bigger and more comfortable and has the option of 4x4 from new also i don't think the merc is available as a chassis cab if you want it for arb work finally for anyone whos interested the new AWD transit tipper is available this year genuine ford not a county conversion

  20. paddock spares or cradock spares are both good for parts cheap to solve soft springs you can fit heavy duty springs fit internal springs as in the military vehicles or fit internal airbags the last one is my favorite as you can adjust them depending on the weight your carrying
  21. if landys are any good to you theres the defender centre they sometimes have ex utility vehicles
  22. it would not have to be raised if the sub frame for each part was next to the chassis rail rather than on it and refering to my other post l200 sigle cabs have the filler in the middle of the tub
  23. i have just had another two thoughts A) what would you do for fuel tanks on vehicles like the l200 B)if the body tips around a point above the chassis woldn't the part bellow that point foul the cab as it tipped
  24. would you leave the body as standard or would you modify it so you gain extra carrying capacity as the standard profiled bodys seem really uneconomical space wise
