  7. I have been doing tree work quite a few years, but find my experience of pricing planting quite limited. Do you all work on per tree or job for planting standards (these are 15cm girth) ?? I have quite a big job and I don't want to screw it up. I think my lads would do 15 trees a day (two men) with double stake, watering tube, spacer, tie, mulch, and bit of nice top soil to but back with the rest of the backfill. (would use a mini dig) Any ideas on a price per tree? or advice on pricing would be great.
  8. I run a team of three cutters in oxfordshire, we have full kit truck, chipper, unimog with 6tm crane. All qualified to climb, rope harness, varied experience from 9yrs - 3.5 years.

We are pretty busy but just wanted to put this forward to keep us in mind, and always up for a change now and then. If your interested in a sub team for a week now and then.

    Ben

  11. Does anybody have any contacts to buy processor size timber in the oxfordshire/gloucestershire area? and how much would I expect to pay for a wagon load delivered? I'm sorry to all the people who have a clue on timber prices, that must answer these questions all the time but if you don't ask you don't find out!
  12. We are a small family run business in oxfordshire/Gloucestershire borders, we are a small team looking for additional help when the time arises. Would be interested in subby climbers/groundmen on a ad-hoc basis or trainee on part time maybe leading on to full time. please e.mail me on [email protected] Regards Ben:biggrin:
  13. I am the pround new owner of a 1650 with crane. I'm now looking to save and buy/build a fast tow trailer on air, has any body got advice, builders. Mog doesn't have pick up hitch so needs to be fitted on to NATO style hitch. Looked Muller trailers at Alex's look really nice just putting feelers out to alternatives? We need a trailer that will take chip and timber, thought about half side and then removable bolsters for timber. Cheaper the better to get me started!! Has anybody converted a grain trailer to fast with air?
  14. Looks a nice grinder! interested in the teeth. I run a old 20hp pedestrian on multi-tip, they seem expensive and chip easily! I also run a 25hp rayco on finger teeth, I was considering changing teeth type. Anybody got any feedback on different types? My dealer suggests rayco super teeth over 25hp but says fingers are better an the weaker machines.
  15. We have just purchased a nice mog/grab but now have the problem of getting rid of large bits of crap wood. We don't have the largest yard or the largest chipper! anybody got any ideas? Based in oxfordshire.
