    Mini loaders

I couldnt say for small stuff i only looked at the biggest of each range and having used fixed boom it is definitely required for the safe stacking of bales which is more important but i cant see why for arbwork it couldnt be alright They had a shaffer next to the avant stand and due to where the boom pivot is positioned in comparison i dont think it would have much difference with the equivalent avant parked not far away as the avant has a lower further forwards boom pivot but obviosly its difficult comparing this not next to eachother and not the exact same spec But then the schaffer has less visibility forward as you have a boom in the way its all swings and roundabouts i think on that size i think the bigger the machine the bigger the telescopic advantage is by the time you get up to 3 tonne lift its a huge difference To difflock Yeah i just liked the look of the slighly bigger ones i looked at kubota and think they have a hole in there range where the larger agri spec and the smaller landscaping ones dont overlap the armatrac is definitely an agri tractor in a small package Plus i havent seen if kubota can match there finance deal

I would definitely say move it up on your bucket list from the point of veiw that there is so much there that can give you ideas about work even if not agri related as i said huge amount of loaders there like you wouldn't believe Then everything from tractor manufacturers new to the market after reading your past posts there is one particular i think you would be interested in called armatrac But for forestry in general i think the new zetor crystal looks good as does the new mcormic and case maxum series all simple tractors without the gadgets the farming world now want Aswell as new releases of welding and fabrication tools i found it really usefull

Jcbs new one no telescopic boom though http://www.jcb.com/en-gb/products/wheel-loaders/403-agri Pichon new to the uk seems very heavily built and well thought out although it was a larger model on there stand Compact loaders telescopic series | PICHON Dapper seemed very basic didnt look to hard seemed a cheap copy of avant Compact loaders telescopic series | PICHON Cant find the small kramer they had there online maybe a new release Giant seemed really sturdy to me between that the seating position being over the engine and oscillating centre pivot i think it seems a better machine than the avant definitely aimed more at farmers than avant as you can see quite easily the compbarible sizes the giant has better ground clearance and break over angles

  8. Its 18.29 And gross of 30 now
  9. These are albutt options
  10. Yeah the check valves lock out the main system but the type of valve used on the jcbs aux line is such that it can be depresurised with the ignition on would make for a very tiring day on the farm waiting to change implements It is recomended this procedure is followed before attatching or removing an implement it will also help sometimes to turn the little red handle if you have hydraulic pins as this can become sticky when warn
  11. Screw Connect Couplings - Holmbury UK Not cheap
  12. Every jcb i have ever driven has had the ability to dump the pressure if they are electro hydraulic turn the ignition on and move the controls you will hear clicking from the pannel by your right foot as solenoids move or behind you if in a tm Pressure will be dunped this is the by the book way of doing it on all jcbs up until a couple of years ago then they fitted a depresurise button under the steps and on the latest ones moved it to under your elbow
  13. We keep a bolt welded to a flat plate in some machines put the bolt inside the quick coupler wrap in a rag and smack against the headstock will release pressure Also sometimes helps if you leave grab parcially open turn off machine and depresurise same as usual as sometimes if presurised to hard in pne direction it wont depresurise think its how a check valve is fitted in the system Another option is screw on quick couplers Oh and allbut do proper brush and grubbing out grabs but are around 5 grand
  14. If u know u will eventually need things why not buy in advanced i have a cupboard with brand new trousers and boots and shirts and jumpers and jackets that i bought on sale but i dont need yet so they stay in the cupboard until i wear something out Im never left in the position where something wears out and i have to loose work to go and get i get it cheap and i can wear stuff until it literally falls apart knowing when it does tomorrow i will just pull a new one out the cupboard If your going to buy them in the future ur gonna spend the money anyway
  15. Modern inverter welders can be generatpr safe usually the dual voltage ones Something like a gys gysmi 200p fv This has electrics inside to keep it safe on a generator
  16. Mcnaught and alemight are the big brands They also make alot of the machinery branded ones such as cat john deere new holland and so on once using one of these brands everything else is junk The speedy grease guns are ok clean to use but have to store the cartridges and gun top down or they will infuriate you as there is no aplunger to push air bubles out Ive also been recomended a g coupler for nipples with a lot of space round they lock on And if you are having problems with grease guns make sure all cartridges are stored top down it will help eliminate air locks Storing them on there side encourages it
  17. Ken mills engineering do a proper set up but the filter housing alone is 5 grand for the big setup dont know about smaller setups plus the fan Impact air are another company and i will find the name of another fompany in a minute These are all professional dust extraction systems for horse bedding type applications although to do it really properly you will require a dust drum ken mills also sell this It is a screen that rotates against a brush so the large particles get knocked of to go to the output side and the dust gets sucked through this then has to go to a filter bank that catches the dust and depending on the output may require a cyclone to let the dust settle The dust drym is the most important part as this does the seperation the rest is just trying to catch the dust and not let it blow off in the wind
  18. Bedding for horses will be a pain if trying to sell They are really unbelievable fussy a local farm producing bedding is tippung 2 12tonne sillage trailers a day of dust extracted from the bedding to be muck spread If its chips as opposed to dust the chain oil can cause skin irritation for the horses and if mixed in with compost goes for years without breaking down and if to much is added in and left sucks the nitrogen from the soil to finish the decaying process so is a backwards step

    Dodgy truck

It says in the small print of the invoice that there is no garuntee the truck is safe or road legal and that the salesman never claims it was Even though they did but im guessing that removes any rights along with them putting it through as a trade sale I will keep up with trading standards even if its just to make sure it doesnt happen again and will try and find the owner of the company as he seems to be trying so hard to hide

    Dodgy truck
