  1. door hinges and locks need to be removed
  2. a few weeks ago one of my customers got there ride on mower pinched the plod gave them a crime number and that was it a fortnight later thay got a letter asking if they wanted counselling. what a joke

  4. I have probs with my back, neck, shoulders, knees etc. Even the dog oil dos not work like it used to. I better send for the knacker man

  7. lawn sand helps but not a total fix
  8. years ago one of my dogs (boxer) picked up a laburnum branch only had it for 10 minutes playing with it and a bit of chewing a hour later it was at the vets proper sick, all parts are poisons
  9. hope your dog is not playing with the laburnum as it will kill it
  10. looks good but what happens when you start to use them, the top will be open to the elements wont the logs get wet through before you have used them or do you sheet the top ?
  11. the brewery has had various set to with Selby council (local authority) over a lot of years over planning and design of buildings and car parks etc. even going as far as high court and wining, it has cost Selby council millions of pounds in a nut shell he will use every opportunity to have a go at the council. in a way I think good someone can take on the council and win but I do not agree with all of his ideas

I am surprised mull you have not herd there name as it has even been on the national TV. reading between the lines I think that they wanted to be involved with the consultation of the rebuilding of the bridge as to where they are going to put the foot bridge its on a flood plain (tadcaster albions) so hope the river dos not flood again, also folk might have a half mile walk to get onto the main street if he closes down the river side path (that he owns and no public right of way)
  13. Anyone know who took the trees down at tadcaster river side for the temporary foot bridge to be sited across the river today
  14. more rain forecast tonight and to morrow then the cold weather coming in and the flood waters will freeze over what a pain, got a couple of barrows of logs in from the shed today it was squelching and paddling up under foot across the lawn I dared not do any more it was that bad
  15. you can get a electric one for not much more than that and a lot easier plus you can sell it when you get your pto one
  16. you want to see the river and floods 50 miles down stream you would need a hovercraft
  17. be carful you do not use (or similar) a name that is registered to a LTD company at companies house or you can be in bother and cost you money. a established design and erect decking firm with about 8 staff which I used to do some work for went to the ideal home thingy a week later there was solicitors letters arriving from a company down south threatening court action if they did not stop trading with the name after a month the office was shut down and the boss was trading under his own name and from home with reduced staff
  18. forgot to say we were supposed to be having a family meal in one of the pubs next to the bridge tomorrow I think it will be off now I cannot get in touch with them

I live about 5 miles up stream of tadcaster the bridge has been taking a battering lately with the water level so high and all the debris floating down (full trees) and forced under the bridge, years ago they used to dredge the river for sand and gravel there used to be a island just below the bridge but after a flood they removed it (about 40 years ago) in the village the other side of the river to me the farm house got water in it, first time since 1947 Johny I hope your yard is ok

  24. I am waiting for some 6ft yews to come they are not lifting them yet because of the warm weather
  25. clear skies at the moment you can see the stars first time in 6 weeks
