  1. i have used a earlex but the over heat used to cut in after a coupple of panels. i have used a 8lt pump sprayer with good results but had to thin the normal water based fence paint down by half which makes it into the sprayable paint that you pay twice the price for. you might have to give it two coats depending how long ago it was painted. just use a flat peace of cardboard for the over spray. make shore you give the sprayer a good clean after use
  2. also if you are using a divided trailer after tipping out the back load you might be over weight on the draw bar
  3. for the saplings try tree guards they provide protection from the Weather and animals
  4. husky for me reliable set it to any angle use a sihl now and again Pre set angles and heaver
  5. make shore their's a spare wheel with it
  6. also this winter with the prolonged easterly winds and the cold temperatures the roots were not taking any water but the winds were drying out the branches as a result there has bean a lot of die back
  7. i would give you some good beer money for it if you was closer
  8. its normal for holly and ivy to shed leaves this time of year but i have noticed that they seem to be shedding a lot more than normal
  9. stihl had a verry large batch of faulty switches a few years back and were replacing them free of charge but they did not make it genral knolage my blower would not turn off and the hedge cutter would not turn on

  13. try combined insurance they do sickens, hospital, permanent disability etc. as all permanent health insurance its not that cheep it also depends what amount you want them to pay if you are ill, age and job but its tax deducible
  14. forgot to add the older diesel musso has genuine Merck engines and running gear and can run on neat veg oil
  15. try a ssangyon/daewoo musso much underrated motor much better than a disco and cheaper and will pull 3.5 tons
  16. i have just read in the local rag that john smiths brewery in tadcaster has shut there 2 biomass boilers down due to emission problems but hope to start them up again after modifications
  17. with the announcement of a new bio fuel power station and drax already using bio fuel and several large companies using bio boilers i can see there could be a shortage of timber for firewood in the near future so the prices will rocket ? dave
  18. i have used a product called algon, got it from the garden center about £6 you put it on with a watering can and walk away had some good results with it
  19. he is a very lucky he did not end up under the roof or knocked off the ladder
  20. a m3 of loose top soil is 1.2 metric tons, compacted is 1.7 and allow for water content
  21. i am cutting for a chap at bramhope he charges £3 per ft for n/s and the same for the n.( non drip as he calls them) at my local garden center its 4-5 ft £30 5-6 ft £35 6-7ft £40 dave
  22. hi rob mick rhodes is in his yard on saturday mornings for logs either deliverd or collect yourself. i think thay are about £50 per pickup load (about 1m3) i dont know if there is a delivery charge on top dave
