  1. i have some chestnut fencing in my garden thats over 60 years old and still quite sound

  5. about 10 miles from me locally the wind is not blowing in my direction the latest news says they are going to let it burn its self out
  6. always cut conifers lower than the desired height to let them regrow into the middle so you are not cutting back to the original topping point. there is at least three different aphids affecting conifers and killing them off and i don't think there is a cure to the problem as yet due to the EEC baning a lot of the pesticides
  7. it will be a lot easier to grow them from seed in pots, if they have got to 18ins high they take some digging out, you can get seedlings out of the ground quite easily before they produce true leafs after that its a spade job

  9. in agri you can tow 2 empty trailers but only one loaded Eb a dollie and a Attic trailer counts as 2 trailers so tow it empty but not loaded
  10. the ministry used to store them in a place not far from me and they drove them round the compound once a week to prevent them from getting bits seized and the oil and fluids circulating including the diffs so if its been stood for a few years be careful

  24. just got our new y/p delivered today looking through the appropriate sections no one local, it is possible it will be the last time i look at it till the next one comes. i think it will be a waste of money to advertise with them unless you are prepared to travel 20 miles to give a quote and not get the job
