  10. some good posts. as others have said cash Isa are a no go at the moment, if you go down the private pension root do not forget the account charges that are taken off your payments so reduce your investment (I had 2 and were not paying any interest) I have ended up only getting £100 per month for 30 years investment after taking what I could tax free also pp pot most of it is tied up for life and you cannot get your hand on it talk to another financial adviser as there is a lot of investment (lump sum or monthly) that is paying good returns and you can draw off it if you have to

  14. there are a few lads on here on the north and east side of Leeds that do seasoned logs if that is in your location
  15. the problem with LPG conversion is the room the tank takes in the boot and is not freely available around the country if you travel afar from home base
  16. it is issued by the e/v/ agency for green waste its the lower tier and free of charge any other waste you will need the higher tier which costs, some tip sites will require you to show your licence the main problem will occur if you are stopped by the police or vosa. Pl. is not compulsory but if the sxxx hits the fan you might be glad of it and it is tax deductible
  17. you will need P L Insurance, business insurance on your vehicle(s) waste licence if you transport it away from site, insurance for your tools would be a good thing but not compulsory

  19. post 10 pathfinders are cheaper RFL you will get about 30-35 MPG if you pull a decent size trailer it will go down to 25 MPG they are quite a big buss and 7 seats but you will not get one on your budget. kier and Hyundai are ok worth a look at I had a H terracan for 5 years with not too much problems but they do not make them any more
