    going round a roundabout witch has a ministry weigh bridge on it came face to face with a car coming the wrong way I slammed all on and managed to stop without hitting him a copper came out and pulled him onto the weigh bridge

    have you checked in the loft to see if its coming out of the stack there or back through the roof ?

    roundup/glycol will not have any affect on the cut stems as it needs to be taken in by the leaves , glycol plugs would work but would be expensive and time consuming for that area if you could use the tube guards then spray say in 2 years time that might work

    it looks quite useful for small operators but needs something like a free running guide wheel for the rope onto the capstan to stop wear of the rope

    the problem with Drax if it was shut down today there would be a lot of power cuts as it supply's a lot of electric into the national grid for all the country also there is a lot of chip produced by the small tree surgeons that cannot get it into the supply chain because of the paperwork and it is dumped there was one day I think last year that the government boasted about it only used renewable power to supply the country

    I think you will have to cut some of the neglected foliage back away from the outside then dig the brambles out from the inside replace the missing glass ( you will not get a fork lift through the door) stack it in crates so it will not fall over and bust the glass maybe a auto roof vent will help and it will dry them

    positive for me was burning the stuff I produced from work it saved tip costs and kept me warm now I have retired so not a lot of wood coming in the negative is the wife she struggles to light it, complains its dirty, and says when I leave this earth she will get it taken out and replace with a gas fire we have gas c/h but forgets the time when the beast from the east was here we had a power cut for 4 hours and the stove kept us warm

    on a smallholding type of estate the post and rail fences got painted every year with creosote and a extra couple of brush full round the base at ground level very few posts needed replacing after 40 years

    I do not know about the Zenoah but some makes the bolts tightens the blade and the nut stops it from moving if it has been stored for a long while I would change the grease in the gearbox I use a paint brush and old engine oil on my blades at the end of the day if I have been cutting sappy stuff a quick going over with a wire brush first

    cream enamelled traditional style stove my wife chose it. it looks ok but only a small fire box

    I have a wood burner in the room in winter the gas central heating goes on about half a hour before we get ready for bed, I used to get about enough wood to run for winter but now have retired I only get bits and bobs not enough for the hole winter even started to use next winters stock this winter. If I have to buy logs in it will be cheaper to use the gas as for solar panels the domestic side grants has stopped and after 15 years they are only producing at 50% so by 20 years need replacing so have only paid four them selves

    do not forget it killed the owner of the Segway company when he was going to get his news paper it bucked him off over a cliff into the river

    yes it used to come from the big k about 3 miles down the road till they shut it (the last deep mine pit)
