  1. This is pretty much a dream role for me. But commitments up norf mean its a logistical PITA to get it sorted. One day...
  2. Congratulations Hodge
  3. Sad loss. Thoughts with those concerned. RIP Mucka
  4. The guttation droplets were the confusion for me and what pointed me to I. Dryadeus, as the only other fung I can recall with guttation is Fistulina. With it being in plane I was also a bit confused but it looks remarkably like dryadeus to me. I trust your judgement David
  5. Inonotus dryadeus
  6. How about some ladders?
  7. Look mighty similar to the muk trucks but with different badge!
  8. Hate the bloody things. Never feel safe on them. If I'm hedging I'll try and use steps or get someone else! Always paranoid the bottom is going to skip out. Has never happened but I don't take the chance.
  9. 13000rpm once a while back, can't seem to hit much over 12 now. Got it not long after they came out, really do well for your forearm!
  10. The same music I listen to while at the gym, good upbeat stuff, MJ and all sorts that's upbeat. Keeps you in rhythm.
  11. I had a silver bull big kit bag and even with light use it fell apart, the zip wasn't that strong, mthat broke too, and the stitching on the panel at the bottom came out. I now have two north face duffel bags. Cheaper than the silver bull as I got the medium size and a lot lot stronger and well made. Even had the gelert bags, a step up on the silver bull but not quite a north face. I was pleased with it though!
  12. Big ol tree, meripilus and kretz? Looked good fun.
  13. If it rains, we get wet. Exactly what I tell customers! Doesn't change. Work has to be done at some point, may aswell just get done and get home!
  14. I've got a button programmed for that, type your price then press the zero key. Makes sure your gonna come up good!
  15. Tie them together and make a raft. Might need it if we have more rain!
  16. Best one was when I priced a job at four figures and guessed two days work, found a good team and got it all done in a day, that helped me get some shiny toys with the money from that job. Costs were about a third of the jobs price. Never come up that good since!
  17. I'm unavailable for the day tomorrow but have some easy jobs booked. Looking for someone happy to help with some shrub pruning. Almost certainly an early finish. £80 for the day paid at the end of the day. You will be going out with my regular guy who knows what to do. All job sheets for sites available. Would suit anyone looking to fill a day. Let me know at 07841128366 Cheers
  18. My bad! I suppose having a couple of everything is the way to go when you can justify it!
  19. I'm in the same boat. Mine will be up for a resole too soon. Still bone dry even though the sole is starting to pell off from the toe. I wear mine whenever I work. Tree work or not. Never had a comfier pair of work boots.
  20. Why not just get one piece of rope that you can then put a cinch or ART positioner on that you can use at work and play. I have a 5m blaze lanyard with a positioner and its a pleasure to use. I know everything is rated and suited for its purpose.
  21. It would probably deal with it if it went through with some more woody stuff, it's basically like chipping leaves then. But rootballs or anything with soil in it I would just chuck in a bag and in the back of the truck. These small machines are wood chippers, not shredders. There is a difference.
  22. as above, had 2 years out of my airstreams now and still bone dry, sole is pretty worn and coming away at the toe now but will probably just get it resoled, the upper is just dull with no real signs of wear
