  5. To be honest i have not tried these but its not much more money to buy some decent ones, if spiking is few and far between then cheap will do. I have had a pair of kleins i think (blue shank with leather straps)? had them about 10yrs really good but recently tried some carbon geckos needless to say im now saving.

  8. I use a micro pulley, choke it through the eyes of the pulley then round the tree with the sling and revolver on other end makes a retrievable redirect or cambium saver
  9. Hows about buy it for a £1 go round with tractor and skidding winch, seeing his face would be worth it
  10. Within aerial rescue if your gonna use a tape sling and krab they suggest to have to krabs with the gates opposite so dont accidentally open, even with a spiderjack just get a cambium saver and save for or make a ropeguide type thing
  11. A good way of killing weeds on patio is table salt and boiling water, also no need for the spraying tickets
  12. Nice vids guys was seriously tempted by the porting of my 357 but those 560 are crazy and lighter. Really liked your 076 burrell just pure grunt and not about speed.

  17. I had similar problem then realsied i used tapered screw instead of stepped (whoops) im gonna use some locktite to be sure. How long do the cams last mine is not even a year old and starting to slip?

  20. Have you used it in a work climb yet, i find since fitting the new dyneema kit the red part comes loose, maybe i need some locktite on the screw?
  21. spud, any ideas why the 357 seem to leak oil even when not running, i have stripped mine down and cant find a fault and seems to be a common problem from my experience anyway
  22. Burrell be sure to get some good snaps for the vintage chainsaws thread, I have me a 041 (not working) and and 051 (fully running) im getting a bit of a soft spot for these old stihls probably because my book of choice is currently high climbers and timber fallers lol
