  2. I think hse says that 10mm climbing line is the smallest diameter and 8mm friction cord im only making reference from the cs38 schedule
  3. Nice one jammy, was it done just with a saw or any other smaller tools?
  4. Schedule of rates really only work for highway works as generally the drag doesn't change. Company i used to work for based there work on dbh so 0-15 16-30 31-45 etc and then your price per tree dependant on works. Sometimes you will win and sometimes you lose though thats the problem

  14. Have had a play with the 041 and played with some screws getting easier to start, reckon its been stood for a while. want to get a couple of tanks through it to get things running again could be a strip down as might have a slight fuel pipe leak on to the carb also the ht lead where it caps over the spark plug is heavily worn so a replacement needed. enjoying having a project though
  15. Thanks for that will have a play tomorrow
  16. If this can be answered simply then would really appreciate it, so whats the difference between the low screw and idle screw on carb? tried to fire up the 041 and only starts on half throttle and dies underload so needs a little fine tuning as i restored it to factory settings, any input greatly appreciated especially regarding my first question, cheers

  20. im gonna throw one out there and say willow just because the way the bark is peeling, any advances?
  21. Gristwood and toms are local to you and this would give you some great experience as they have some impressive kit but on the flip side you will soon learn about contractor rates and speed of climbing etc. Seeing some "arb approved" work its not always what arb approved is cracked up to be if you know what i mean and this isn't aimed at g&t by the way

  24. i reckon the chogging down would have finished about the same time when the last bit of that mess went through the chipper lol
