  2. Well done to all who passed, i passed 3 units and failed the managing trees in the environment. Annoying to have to wait till october for the retake but only on to worry about will make it easier. Fair play to everyone its just as intense as they talk about
  3. Thats a shame, good to bring up as they can hopefully sort the issue out, cheers for posting
  4. He didn't give us access all day and we did the best job we could but there will always be little nubs from pruning points and small twigs, then to let us in at the end? why not just let us have access during the job, would have been much quicker, not much fun especially on price work
  5. doing a council tree at rear of property (not in the garden), large oak reduction and refused access to garden. A day of plenty of rigging and pull line set up no branches went in garden. At end of the day the bloke collard the two younguns (after me and foreman had left) and mad them clear the garden of little nubs from pruning cuts. needless to say we were um.......mildly upset to say it politely

Have spotted a real corker along the a339 though with some merip going on at the base, if i carry on at this rate do you reckon i should invoice or will they give me some sort of finders fee lol (or tell me to get a job and a life lol)
  9. Yeah i know what you mean, not sure if its FJ or essential arb but they got a cracker shot of some one handed action with the visor up im no hse geek but if its going out to the industry they should be showing best practice
  10. should ask to move the thread to the essential arb/ forestry journal section as i had a similar rant regarding lack of editor experience in our field and it seems they do genuinely appreciate the input
