  1. 72kg at 180cm although my heaviest was about 85kg and it weren't muscle, bad times

  3. Well thats cleared up a question i was going to ask about the difference between the mini mill and small log mill? but thats done a cracking job on that oak now im a little tempted to treat myself to one
  4. is it best to dry the wood once its been milled or mill dry timber?
  5. I like my 357 light enough up a tree and happily runs the 18" bar but i do love the 576 too, hmm bit of a dilema i feel i probably have not helped

  11. I love my coffee, im bad for stopping at a costa if its on route but i think its because of last year i had a stint in america for a month and everyday i drank coffee and beer. My heart now lies with dunkin donuts, america runs on dunks and so does ben lol

Nice felling but dont become another statistic especially with the amount of accidents guys are having which can be avoided, it would seem from the pics we have seen you have a great skill that has been passed down to you and would be a great shame for you to not then pass these things on. Sorry if it seems a bit morbid but i hope you get the point. Still great work though
  13. Do the tw allow air brakes? sometimes where needs must i reckon, got a friend who recently drove an 8210 from north of basingstoke to winchester to pick up some timber and it took nearly two hours, ouch. worth it though

  15. I reckon your on it there tom, looks to be heavily crown lifted so going to be a lot of rigging wood which is generally not too bad for climber or groundsman even with basic rigging kit
  16. Allowing for time i would say 2 days with three men depending on drag, your vehicle set up and distance from your yard all to consider. So that is the figure.

  18. yes you have to wear a helmet but my post mentioned trousers as the original post was saying he was only wearing chinos
  19. Not trying to take it too seriously but i think even at work you dont have to wear chainsaw trousers whilst using a pole pruner (although could be wrong not got the ticket)
  20. I love the 346 power to weight is awesome so this could well be scary, have you done this to a 346 before?
