  4. I have heard that ratchet straps are supposed to be hooked on the hook part and not linked through the hook if that makes sense as this can lead to the ratchet hook splitting. see the picture of original post if that makes sense.
  5. I find the marlow stuff is not too bad although i need to trim the most used end off mine as its wearing through and i know she is gonna give in just when i need it. It does occasionally knot up but then that might be down to poor throwline management despite using a cube
  6. Try looking on the sprocket although this is a pain if its still a husky chain it should read on the depth gauge as .325 or if an oregon chain then just 25. And just read the above post and i thought i was being clever

  21. hmmm discovery 4 thats got to be near on £40,000 worth of motor and yet they are gonna moan about price, maybe you could do a Top Gear test and see if their D4 can drive over 6 loads of chip and artic load of wood at the end of their drive that could build some revenue lol
  22. I kind of want to thank you for starting this thread i have always assumed them being a bit of an expensive cambium saver but having followed this thread and points of view and watching the video i think its a pretty good idea (still expensive mind). Might be a treat at some point
  23. I have the same problem with mine, im gonna have the thing apart tomorrow thanks for the potential solution
