  6. I believe it to have been just one picus reading but multiple resistograph readings were taken i believe the consultants doing the work will be adding the images to there website because of the good readings, i dont think they showed the butt and extent of decay across the whole base

  11. It was found at the base and the client mentions of its annual appearance, i will pop round to the tree for a better inspection and photos, thanks for the quick replies

  13. Hama do you have any experience of I. dryadeus on robinia? Afriend showed me a photo which i initially identified it being dryadeus but am trying to find refernce to species other than oak. cheers
  14. I have a friend who has saved a few battery hens and they say the eggs get better along with their health. I thought legally free range meant 1 chicken to a meter square or might be 3 chickens to a square meter i cant quite remember. Good on you though i want chickens one day

  17. I think would have appreciated it more if the delivery was a little different, power point with lots of writing only to be read what was on screen is not how i can hold attention. I kind of understand what he was getting at. This is why i really enjoyed pauls part as it really kept me interested although some times "off topic" i see the relation he was getting at. This is my first seminar i have attended so maybe just need to learn to try and concentrate more or get in the right mindset, just i learn slightly differently

  19. I heard if strapping down loads then the ratchet should have three wraps on the system so it wont slip not sure if its legality, best practice or just word of mouth from down the pub
