Interesting reading spud regarding the 338xpt as mine has been a bit of a pain recently although hopefully cured after a carb rebuild and clean. the revs were picking up but when underload would barp barp barp and die. Be interested in getting mine tweaked when i get a new one, can you do much with them?
  2. That 076 is back on ebay and an 090 starting bid of.......£700, please feel smug yewhunter and use as ammo next time the wife complains about you buying toys lol
  3. Well the 076 went for £460 in the end so makes you 090 look like more of a bargain

    Nice to see someone not slagging off the 338, bought mine for weekends 3 and half years ago and only just started having 1 or 2 issues. I really find it more comfortable than the stihl and cant wait for the t540
  5. Purchased one from the shop, its only a quartely mag so dont hold off the fj. Had a quick browse and seems pretty good, very focused on climbing and rescue in this issue

  7. I guess thats the wakefield one. that 076 does look good, bit of a travel though, those big old stihls are cool though
  8. lucky bugger i have spotted a lil 076 on there at the mo is tempting but starting at £300, what did you get the 090 for if you dont mind me asking?

  14. Cant remember about the spout been a few years since i used one, but a great little chipper. Cant recall any problems to watch out for, happy chipping

  18. Its a shame of the proximity to the road as would have been interesting to see crown condition in leaf
  19. A friend has a posch 30tonne splitmaster and the cuts the billets on a posch cutmaster. the cutmaster is very quick and can sit behind a small tractor
  20. didn't see any meripilus was too busy in aww of decay, i would have thought she would have thrown if merip was there but may be wrong. i expect the stump will be left so might build up an annual id of fungi.
  21. Also a note for hama, in the first pic you can see a side limb with staining any ideas what could be the cause of this?
  22. Just to let you know that the tree has now been felled and will get a stump photo at the weekend
