  1. If its any help the mighty Nuffield goes through periods of not starting, and i have never been able to find the fault. On the plus side i can strip and clean the electrics, remove and test the starter in under 10 minutes

  3. I'll second a zetor,but i run an older one with little in the way of electronics. I have herd that the newer ones are not as good.
  4. Finnally managed to spend a day processing, 20 cube down 60 to go so far.
  5. If it was all cherry, then i would times by .9, but for mixed .8
  6. Times the cubic volume by .8, this will give you the weight

  8. Whilst you lot were swilling beer and chatting at the Arb show, i was freezing my genitals off on a hill in north Wales. Still good day out and i think i came fifth. A small bit of felling for your pleasure.

  12. I have a logster lite that i do not use now that i have a fancy pants M7. Cuts upto 28" wide boards. P.M if you are interested
  13. Its a lump of wood, and he is going to do something with it. Other than that i am as clueless as you.
  14. I have Kumho's on the back, and have only lasted three years. On the front BFG mud terrians that are 6 years old, and have been just replaced with more mud terrains. The Kumhos give better grip off road, but don't last as long. My local indepentant supplied and fitted 2 mud terrians for £200
  15. Pines often look unwell at this time of year, as they are shedding there old needles. If they are still looking unwell iin a month or two, then there is a problem
  16. Cornwall Wildlife trust are normally after volunteers, and they have a few large woodlands

  20. I would almost jak in the tree felling comp to see this. Please please please somebody get a photo ( preferably with lunge)
  21. Blossom wilt is really common, and it only shows at this time of year. The wilt only affects the flowers, which causes no fruit, so if you had fruit, the tree has caught the infection since.
  22. That be blossom wilt. Cut off all the affected branches carefully so that the brown blossom does not fall off. Take them away and burn. Do the same with all the fallen leaves this winter (Burn) Wash the remaining branches with a 20% solution of Jays fluid. You will have to repeat this for a couple of years, and suffer no fruit. I have treated a number of cherries and plums this way, all of which are showing no signs of blossom wilt this year.
  23. Stick your fingers in your ears, and go ' la la la la' Some people no matter what you do are unhappy.
  24. At least you can fix it, have you had the Cornish screwdriver at yet ?
