  8. On my own with the mighty Nuffield pulling out trees whole over 100-200m distance, and cutting and stacking, i was averaging 130 12' lengths (11 to the cube)
  9. They will try and throw out loads of shoots once the tops have been nipped out. You just need to keep on top of the re-growth. Once you get to the end of August, you will need you remove all the leaves, as this will aid the ripening of the remaining fruit.

  15. You are making life too easy, did you break into a sweat ?
  16. I use an old krab with a broken gate on the end of a 30' rope for light pieces. So long as there is tension on the rope the krab wont release. It is not 100% reliable as the krab sometimes snaggs
  17. Even if you go like the clappers, you will be lucky to clear £30-50 a day dropping small trees on tonnage rate. I pay between £9-12 per hour, and i provide fuel
