  1. Totaly differrent feel to Haytor, big multi pitched climbs on fantastic rock. Always seems to be bomb proof protection when you need it most.
  2. Personaly i would prefer Alder and Birch. I think that 6' spacings might be better, as you will need to allow for multi stemmed growth, once you start coppicing.
  3. I am sure that they have their reasons, but i would not want to try and justify it in court......
  4. I am going with Dewestone on the edge of Dartmoor
  5. Nobody has mentioned the Echo, 2 year pro garentee, magnesium back handle. http://www.radmoretucker.co.uk/category/Petrol_Chainsaws/product/Echo_CS610_Petrol_Chainsaw/
  6. Jewsons do a paint on waterproofer, that can be painted on wet or dry. It also contains some kind of fiber so it holds to the surface well. It is not cheap, but i repaired my flat roof with it 4 years ago , and it still has not leaked.
  7. Yep it nice and shiney, but i can not get your avitar picture out of my brain..... AAAAHHHHH
  8. Make up your own with an ammo pouch containing: 2 large Israeli battle dressings 1 packet of Celox 1 Small and one medium dressing. That will be enough to hold you together until you reach the ground
  9. A customer of mine hss a couple of bird cherries that have fruit and flowers. I put it down to very dry june, and a second flush due to the good growing growing conditions since.
  10. I aquired a Rowan from the woods i was working in a couple of days after my son was born. I have had enough berries this year to make Rowan berry jelly. And yes my son is called Rowan
  11. 4 hours of cursing. The trunk was in a hole, and i did not have machinery big enough too lift it out in one.
  12. Just cut all the leaves off, and the fruit will ripen by itself. Tomatos come from hot dry countries, do they really dislike our damp wet climate. Don't go watering them loads or all the remaining fruit will split. Next year don't cram in so many so there is better air curculation, and less problems. Also grow in the ground not pots or growbags, toms like to spread their roots deep, and you will have to water them less.
  13. Coed y cardi has a good set up, might be worth having a chat with him, as he is not far from you
  14. Alder is good, but it has to be submerged, if it is out of the water it will only last 6 months. If it is available oak would be my first choice, but heartwood only and cleft not sawn. Larch or Sitka in roundwood poles would be my second choice. Happy wading
  15. Spot on rigging with the big top coming out
  16. Cheers but garden kit pm'ed a link and now all sorted
  17. I keep forgeting as i have seen it so often, the perils of working in west Wales
  18. Any takers ? Too big for me: 3' 5" at the small end and 13' long. Gert lump is located in Lawrenny west Wales
  19. The top handle/ front enginne AV mount collapsed, causing most of the contents to fall out Does anyone have a diagrame, so we can work out what is missing. Cheers
