  1. Why indeed, valuable micro habitat within the woodland ecosystem
  2. I have had a 'lube shuttle' screw in cartridge grease gun for ten years, it has been faultless and not expensive.
  3. I have on my Fransgard, 75m of 9mm, and 100m of 8mm, which does not leave much room when all the cable is wound on.
  4. A lot of my customers often express that they wish they had spent more time with their kids when they were younger, when i tell them that i have to do the school run. It makes business sence to get the job done in a day, but your kids are only young once, and very quickly grow up. Family always comes first.
  5. Have you been feeding it cider mendi-plogs-jon ?
  6. In two weeks they have hatched and grown adult feathers.
  7. You are making life too easy for yourself with these fancy cranes, man up and get a proper sweat on your brow.
  8. Good idea but it will result in a broken snatch block.
  9. Cheers for a blinding weekend. Good to put names to faces, even if Mr Eggs did pass out early. Can we have abit less thunder and lightning next time.
  10. Echo all the way.
  11. £160 for both sides of the Landy, regularly get work as a result.

  15. Yes it is, and it is part of the Lantra <200mm tree felling course. Like anything know its limits, and it becomes a very useful technique.
  16. Good use of rigging, carefull or you will be giving Reg a run for his money.............. Enjoyed that.
  17. There is a lady based in Cardigan that has a pair of mules (suffok x spanish mule). I have her number somewhere, let me know and i will search it out.
  18. Enjoyed that, well done.
  19. Is anyone going to have any at the arb show ?
  20. Oak buds burst when daylight hours reach a certain point, Ash buds burst at a certain temperature. Generally the lenght of daylight needed for the oak burst is reached before the air temp that triggers ash burst.
  21. Its on my birthday list.
  22. Dish the dirt :-)
  23. Look what happens when Nic fells a tree.
  24. Wildlife and countryside act is long gone, its CROW (2000 ish) now. Sorry to be a pedant. Part of the job discription for the proposed works will list what is important, and dont be afraid to ask if you can not ID it. There will be a long list of mitigating measures to be put in place whilst the work is carried out.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
