  3. I have a ibc in the trailer, which will last for four days including washing out. It also means that i am not transporting water every day. When i fill up the tank ( solo 425,15l) i also fill a tanks worth into an empty 20l container and take that with me so that i am doing two tanks for one walk. I enjoy spraying as i can only spray in dry weather, and it is quiet with no noisy chainsaws. Plif plaf ploof

  5. No i spray on foot. Generally i work long days, and can spot spray 1 1/2 to 2 hectares a day. But that depends on terrain Plif plaf ploof

  8. Even on a dry level site you are going to have to go some with trees that size, and then on top pay £30 per cube.
  9. Large adjustable spanner instead of winch handle, as winch handle was left at home. Worked suprisingly well.
  10. Its the shear plane, that allows the tree to flex in the wind. Sycamores particulary are prone to this, as others have said it is the tension being released. Always good to stop you from becomming complacient when it goes pop.
  11. Why wont they except Lantra, Lantra & NPTC training is the industry standard for proving competence ?
  12. If they pull there finger out i might think about it. But Lantra will soon have refesher couses up and running, that should be cheaper and be more universaly excepted.
  13. AUS poles are by far and away the best on the market, nothing else even comes close. And you can leave them hanging on a 11kv to keep them dry and clean.
  14. I think it is time he did a refresher course. If i was employing him i would want a refresher as minimum, depending on level of competance and experience.
