  1. A trailer with an IBC with water will be your friend. Its been nearly 20 years since i last sprayed around trees, but i think i used to do at least 2000 a day.
  2. 2000 trees won't take long, providing that your mixing station can follow you round.
  3. This should tick all the boxs. No idea what it's like, but it's not Chineseium. Tractor Log Splitter - Log Splitter - Vertical log splitter HANDENGINEERING.COM Tractor log splitters. Can split logs up to 400mm. One of safest on the market and CE certified. Shop high quality tractor log...
  4. The alarm goes off in my digger just lifting the tree shear off the ground!
  5. No idea, this was 5 years ago. The hospital tested me for loads of things, but all came back negative
  6. Jo has reciently started climbing for me, and is proving to be quite adept. Awkward tree with no central tie in, and a large Chicken of the woods bracket at the base.
  7. Most cranes struggle slewing with a load. Bring it in closer, and use the rotate to get it moving in the right direction before you start slewing.
  8. The poor old Log Bullet has been feeling neglected of late, so what better way of resolving this than steep ground and dreadful access. #Dullasditchwater

  14. I am sure that the chain speed is less than 25m/s for all non forestry spacific cutters. Chain shot is not an issue at these speeds.
  15. I have found it generally associated with dead wood, and i would guess that it will happily stay within the wound compartment for many years. I would be more concerned about root damage from the surrounding development.
  16. £200 is not a large amount for referenced professionalism
  17. I think they are still messing around
  18. I would be starting with Rigidoporis ulmarius Giant elm bracket
  19. Ben Burgess is importing Laski, which is the same. Laski Stump Grinders - Ben Burgess WWW.BENBURGESS.CO.UK predator-stump-grinders-narrow-access-petrol-radio-controlled
  20. First impression, I would say silver leaf.
  21. After 30 years i still over/under price jobs. Customers want confidence, so a couple of technical words, but not too many go a long way. You ain't gonna win them all. Options work in a few cases, but aways require good access. 9 out of 10 cases, there is only one option. Stick to your decision, and don't be swayed by the customer.
  22. My apple trees are the most unloved trees in west Wales, and still they produce more apples than i can deal with. I spend quite alot of my working life pruning apple trees, and not one of these 'looked after' trees produces as much fruit as my unloved trees .
