  1. Lifting and turning, no BT lines were hurt in the makig of his video.
  2. I will be there for 2 days
  3. I have just got one of these for my Doosan 63, so far so good
  4. Good job i only want 24" 😁
  5. I think that is what I will end up doing, it also means i can use them for other things
  6. Forgot to add shit diagram
  7. Back to the drawing board . Next option is 2 sleepers parallel 8" apart, with 3× 24" scaffold poles drilled through and bolted. The tracks on the digger are 7' wide, so i can either track across or along them. That will also work out the cheaper option.
  8. I think I will try a few of these. Used Ground Protection Mats - Safe Trak Mat - SAFE-CYCLE SAFE-CYCLE.CO.UK Ideal for moving heavy machinery, creating temporary driveways and parking areas and protecting ground in various... I will splice some polyprop loops in the middle so i can easily move them around with the digger . I might make a few out of sleepers and scaffolding poles, but they will be very heavy.
  9. Thats what i hoped , but within a month of re-skinning my tunnel most of the tape that was stuck over existing tape had fallen off. Luckily a tree then fell across the tunnel, so i had to re-do it properly.
  10. You have to scrape it off, otherwise it will fall off within a month.
  11. I have a wet site that i am going to be making wetter, and i need to access with my digger. Does anyone have any recommendations for track/bog mats?
  12. This works well From Sealey, I've drained 2 hydraulic tanks and a few fuel tanks with it.
  13. Ere ya go @Donnie, dealing with small dead trees. Not a bead of sweat was produced.
  14. I stopped using Ecoplugs, because it is a very expensive way of treating stumps, and the plastic will still be there in 500 years I just use neat round up in a 10mm hole, 1-6 holes depending on the size of the stump. I use a hand held sprayer which has a pump handle on top, you just need enough pressure for the Glyphosate to trickle out.
  15. Rewrite what you have written with 50% less words. Pick certain key words and use the thesaurus on the computer to give you alternatives. A short paragraph with concise information, will convey professionalism.
  16. High up on Raven crag, lake district, and out of reach of sheep, a juniper smeared to the rock face. It must be an old tree, the stem is about 3" in diameter.
  17. It was probably this post i had alot of trouble with mine, ended up getting a direct feed straight to the up/down buttons.
  18. You will need to think about the legal implications of letting someone loose in your woods if there is an accident. You will be probably liable . I have 5 small woodlands that I use for crosscut & maintenance and felling upto 200mm, and never get to the 5m3 felling licence requirements when running the course. Even with me running the course in woods that i manage, there is always mess that needs tidying up, stumps lowering etc, but in the long term it is a benefit for the estates.
  19. I am not going to be able to unsee that. Tell him the fool in west Wales says hi, next time you see him
  20. There are lots of small tree companies here in west Wales most are pretty good. Which area were you thinking?
  21. Far south west Wales . No idea money wise. I haven't needed it since i got the Log Bullet. Give us a tinkle 07966792798
  22. Always a good game to see how far you can get them to jump off the stump
  23. I have a Fransguard 3500 twin drum
  24. Turns out that this is a Truffle Gall.
  25. Depends on how desperate the mill is. Aim for £80 per m3. Spruce saw logs here are £67 per tonne. Apparently there isn't much demand at the moment.
