  1. This is more entertaining: LiveLeak.com - the excavator ride
  2. I would almost jak in the tree felling comp to see this. Please please please somebody get a photo ( preferably with lunge)
  3. Blossom wilt is really common, and it only shows at this time of year. The wilt only affects the flowers, which causes no fruit, so if you had fruit, the tree has caught the infection since.
  4. That be blossom wilt. Cut off all the affected branches carefully so that the brown blossom does not fall off. Take them away and burn. Do the same with all the fallen leaves this winter (Burn) Wash the remaining branches with a 20% solution of Jays fluid. You will have to repeat this for a couple of years, and suffer no fruit. I have treated a number of cherries and plums this way, all of which are showing no signs of blossom wilt this year.
  5. Stick your fingers in your ears, and go ' la la la la' Some people no matter what you do are unhappy.

  9. Just bought the Echo 350 top handle to replace my old and broken 200t. What a cracking saw, and now with Stihl new policy, it has made it doubley good
  10. Is that long bottom wood ? I spent a month there Dormouse surveying.
  11. I have a spare barrel and keys that will probably fit. P.M. if you are interested
  12. Its the sunshine that bleaches the wood. So it will need to be outside and off the ground so that it will dry quickly. Also you will need to remove the cambium layer to speed things up.
  13. Selective thin on the limes. Not sure where you will attach the Hobbs though.
  14. The BTCV woodlands book has a really good section on charcoal production.
  15. It is almost identical to mine, minus the chain cover (watch your fingers). The general consenous is it is a Chieftons forge winch.
  16. Good effort, but i see no lunge. C- must try harder.
  17. Compared with the mighty Nuffield, thats in good nic. If it is going into the woods i would not restore it too much. Remember when all else fails check the earth again. Have fun and enjoy
  18. I am glad that i did not see that before today, i had to use the mighty Nuffield to pull the Zetor and forwarder out of the mud. Thankfully i had the sense to take the loaded forwarder off first. Daft i may be, but stupid i is not
  19. I think your tractor will fit in that trailer.
  20. Brake cleaner will shift any oily stain
