  1. This looks freakily like a friends house, your not somerset way are you?
  2. I'm just about to get round to ordering some spares, but I noticed a lot of people had swapped from finger teeth to a different setup so may have teeth lying about off the old set up. Also people may have changed chippers etc I'm after: Finger teeth for a small Carlton grinder Chipper Blades for Vermeer BC1000 Chipper Blades for Timberwolf 18/100. I'll obviously pay a fair price R
  3. Yer I'll give them a call don't fancy my chances of them getting them to me tomorrow with their lead time on chipper blades tho..... Only discovered broken teeth today, it'll still work just not quite aswell. Thanks anyway Rob
  4. Anybody know where I can get teeth locally for a little carlton pedestrian grinder tomorrow or first thing Monday? Cheers Rob
  5. Are the threads damaged at all? When you noticed it was it still set right or had it inverted?
  6. Another vote for the AA! Been brilliant for me, does cost me a bit but well worth it!
  7. It gets everywhere for years afterwards to!!!
  8. Don't do what I did when I was first experimenting though and buy a leaf sucker/mulcher billgoat thing, empty the bags off that into a ton bag and repeat several times. Leaf mulch is very heavy!!!
  9. Depends how many leaves there are, you can find you spend more time emptying the bag than running the mower. We've tried all sorts of methods over the years and the quickest/most effective seems to be to blow them all in to a pile and put them in ton bags or straight into a tipper/tipping trailer if you can get close enough to them. R
  10. Doesn't sound that far out to be honest. You'll probably get it a bit cheaper but not much I wouldn't have thought R
  11. Sell it and buy another one, put it down to experience and move on im afraid
  12. Few keen young lads and a decent tracked chipper. Amazing how quick you can get it done!!!
  13. I think that 15 years on people really ought to get these laws, they're really not new anymore!
  14. http://www.arbtalk.co.uk wasn't working for me for a while, needed to be http://arbtalk.co.uk could just be my computer tho.....
  15. But we don't know (correct me if im wrong) if this was the case. If it was a combat situation then they should be backed 100 percent, as you said. If they have shot someone in a cell then this is probably wrong, but again it may not have been, we weren't there and we don't know the facts (well I don't) T
  16. I'm not going to comment on whether I think it's right or wrong, but I do feel that we definitely do not know all the facts. If the insurgent had been arrested, locked in a cell then shot in the cell, would this be murder? If he's just not had injuries treated this is entirely different. I feel it's important to remember we do not know the facts. Our military does a fantastic job and has some fantastic people in it, unfortunately it also has some bad eggs as in every walk of life. Lets hope for a speedy fair outcome for the people involved. R
  17. I disagree having been in a chinook in some interesting landings:001_tt2:
  18. If only I was in essex, looks like a bargain if you can get it for 175.00
  19. About 11 years ago I fractured a guys skull that I caught breaking into my garage. Circumstances are a bit different as it was on my property and there was 2 of them but I go away with it - Rightly in my opinion...... Listen to your solicitor, oh an if it happens to everybody else the best line for the police when they show up is: "I believe I acted reasonably in the circumstances and will explain later, under interview, in the presence of my solicitor, if you require me to do so." Gives the solicitor a much easier job to do and better chance of getting you off. R
  20. Get a solicitor, well worth paying for! Don't listen to everybody's good advice, everybody myself included has ideas about how you should handle the situation. My two pence worth would be if your charged and go to court ask for trial by jury and hope you get a sympathetic one, after all they're people that live in the real world. Good luck!
  21. Well worth it for the minimal cost, I know you can get on some site without it but it does tend to make life easier and less hassle with it. I think it's gona be more needed in the future. Typical question, you come across an electrical cable what should you do? a) touch it to see if it's live b) Stay clear and report to your supervisor c) Stay clear and work round it d) Have a bucket of water handy in case of fire. It shouldn't be a construction industry test, it should be a test to live without a carer..........
  22. You can borrow my mewp ticket Rob, I hardly use it. Just put on a couple of stone, become an ugly bugger and you'll be fine!
