  1. It's definitely not the same blade as the timberwolf, 7 inches sounds about right, mines 16 or 18hp kohler I think
  2. Am I wrong in thinking it's the same engine, blades etc?
  3. He asked for a modified version, nobody mentioned the modification couldn't exclude the doorways ramps from being used:001_tt2:
  4. You mean like this? 2000 Entec Timberwolf Wood Chipper For Sale - Used and New Agricultural Machinery and Equipment With Free Advertising on Farming Machines UK Same blades and engine I believe just a different mounting, I've got one that Im thinking about getting rid of, served me well, but just not used anymore
  5. Air leak from dodgy new side casing??
  6. I've used one and was pretty impressed with it, I couldn't justify that kind of money on a grinder though, only problems were a dodgy battery and stupid hydraulic hose routings meaning they will get knackered at somepoint R
  7. The R is short for Rob........... As the job is for the council they will need to decide whether they can justify re homing the birds v. danger to the public/property. In other words I'll let someone cleverer :-) than me make the decision and I'll do what I'm told like a good boy
  8. Interesting one this, got a pop to fell subbying for someone else, tree is knackered and will fail at somepoint (maybe tonight maybe 20 years time) we found a nest and just made the phone call and went and did another job for them. I'd be very surprised if we don't have to go back and relocate the nest after guidance from the client (council) has been sought R
  9. Not necessarily a bad thing, just a shame it's such a pita to go from a 3.5t vehicle to a bigger one, when physically the vehicle can be the same size, but more legal in weight carrying context. Those statistics are a bit frightening but then again they normally stop a vehicle when they believe something will be wrong with it so not that surprising.
  10. I tried it for a year, and got one £300 job from it and about 10 waste of time calls. Needless to say I didn't renew. I know it does work for some people though, and ill admit I do use it myself.......
  11. We also have to do an hour with an examiner every second year, which is kind of the same thing by the sounds of it. Really stupid thing is that I can stay current by not flying for 23 months then in the last month do 12 hours, with an hour with an examiner and stay current........
  12. Im sure it's probably in the public domain anyway, but not sure I'd be putting my address on a public forum certain undesirables could be looking.......
  13. I'll have a look tomorrow, or failing that I'll at least get some piccies.....
  14. How can I find out? I brought it off someone that had decided to get rid of his real grass and the sticker with the model number isn't there. Presumably theres a serial number on it somewhere that in turn I can determine the model number for it? R
  15. Hi there, After having a couple of mowers nicked I need to get an old one up and running ASAP. It's a rear roller Honda think a hrb 475 or 476 not got any markings on it. I need a new drive cable and a spring that tensions the chain. Are they the same on different models or do I need to find out exactly what model it is Cheers R
  16. I've had it quite a few times, again never been checked up upon, let them know the date, its a quick email or txt and everybody is happy R
  17. Stupid question time will these fit on my Carlton grinder? It's got finger teeth on at the moment. R
  18. Last minute.com but if any groundsman want a days dragging/chipping/lowering give me a txt or ring as I won't be back on here its 07799444848 Thanks Rob
  19. Is the 2010 one the latest one or is there a newer one?
  20. Anyone? dont mind paying if necessary?
  21. Hi there, got a job tomorrow that I thought I had a tip site for. After somewhere to tip logs and chip. It's a monkey puzzle tree. If you can help MSG me on here or 07799444848. Cheers Rob
  22. If I get questioned about the materials I explain that the client is welcome to source them and have them delivered, but they are in turn responsible for any down time I experience if they mess it up!
  23. Just spoken to somebody about this and they can do you for failing to surrender your licence as you haven't got a valid licence to surrender, but you can still drive, in theory it could be a £1000 fine. As for inusrance the ABI has apparently dismissed this as being a get out clause so no worries on the insurance front. R
  24. I've recently renewed my insurance and this has been the only time it's been a problem, so i've finally got round to changing it. Wasn't a problem when I've been stopped by the police. R
