  1. Did you buy the dvds steve? i bet they end up in the cupboard next to the juicer, kettle bell, exercise ball etc within a month Remember and change your diet or you will get poor results and get disheartened. good luck with it.
  2. Alarm bells !! walk away, life's too short.
  3. I've been getting a data base error this afternoon, i also got the page up and it was all out of sinc with blue question marks over it. poxy porn virus no doubt:biggrin:
  4. £14k is strong money, build one yourself, tri axle trailer helps with the nose weight, bolt a crane on and power pack couple of bolsters and jobs a good un you could make the crane detachable so you could put it back on the small forestry trailer for behind a quad Vahva Jussi Tractor ATV Quad Bike Forestry Timber Crane Trailer European Built | eBay Benford Boxer Hydraulic Power Pack, Breaker Unit Powerpak Honda GX200 6.5hp | eBay IFOR WILLIAMS TRI AXLE FLAT BED TRAILER
  5. nope, unless your ltd. well thats my take on it, I'm sure someone will be along soon with the rules and regs of it all
  6. I thought the same. Loads spent on that,i bet it still pushes oil everywhere !! they do hold strong money though. I've never seen a three way tipper with a scissor tip before i wonder if theres side loading on the mechanism when it tips to the side. I bet that would sell at £10k.
  7. Rust !! Power on the engine can be up graded, inner wings, sills, floor, chassis etc can suffer quite bad on some of them, my mate has them in regular for welding and the state of some of them is amazing, parts are plentiful and cheap. I don't personally like them after having two i use a renault master and find it great.
  8. I loved my mog but it just does not work for my business anymore so i sold it, i used mine on red and ag registered and never got any bother, i always though there was more chance of you getting pulled in a transit full of chip, because lets face it anyone with a crew cab transit with high sides full of chip is over loaded, Police will know that a transit can carry nothing. They are great units and I'm sure i will miss mine. Lives to short to procrastinate whether its good or not, get one try it and decide for yourself, don't be one of those pundits who slate them whilst never owning/using or driven a mog.
  9. Big Black-Kerosene. Its in my will to be played as i get cremated. [ame= ] [/ame]
  10. I liked it, just don't expect it to be a "real" chipper, timber wolf, jenson, greenmech etc, its a 4" chipper even though it states 5. i would say it was on par with a greenmech cs100 ( i have one of these to) with the added bonus of a roller feed to pull in dead stuff. if its cheap enough it will be a great first chipper, keep the blade sharp and i mean razor sharp or the shute will block. I made a few modifications to help the blocking problem i shortened the shute and also welded a pipe on it to attach the blower to when chipping wet conifer, this solved it and it always stayed clear.
  11. I think mine was about 400kg, certainly light, you can move them about very easy.
  12. Don't bother carving them, just throw 2 pre carved owls in the back of the car, cut the stumps down and glue said owls on stumps !! job done in an hour then eat your weight for a week lying in the sun.
  13. I found the NFU were horrible to deal with when you are trying to get cover, they point blank told me they don't insure various items even though i know they do, found them very unhelpful and dismissive of new business.
  14. I got mine for £2500 with a trailer so id say yours with lower hours £3000. Its worth what someone wants to pay for it, to be honest i don't think i would ever sell mine as its such a great wee chipper and takes up no space in the workshop, keep it forever if you don't NEED to sell it.
  15. Sorry to hear about this, wish you all the best for the future buddy. I looked into it a few times but they would not cover me for any reoccurring injuries that i had been to the doctors with, since I've had loads of injuries through the years i figured that if i was going to be off for a while it would probably be an old injury rearing its head, so i never bothered. Although the parting comment from the salesman was "lets hope you don't get cancer" in his best sarcastic voice, charming i thought Im still not convinced i should not have one but have never got round to getting one. As for not paying the mortgage don't you all have savings for that eventuality?
  16. Get them to contact here its a few mile from falkirk. https://www.champfleurieestate.co.uk/acatalog/Logs.html
  17. hahaha the frustration oozes out of that reply mate Toms answer will be correct, get jiggly with a miggy
  18. Regardless who you get in trouble with, i would not be paying for a machine that was shite.
  19. Is it paid in full? if not stop the payments until its resolved, the payments can then be used to hire a chipper thats reliable. Constant breakdowns can be demoralising, good luck.
  20. You posted you charge £30-£35 for cutting grass but you only charge £150 for two of you and kit doing tree work, seems odd
  21. Good luck in the future mate:thumbup1:
  22. I've had similar, I'm sure you have checked all the connections for me it was the connection plugs to the back of the feed buttons, it looked like the plug was in but it was slightly loose, that was enough to stop it starting. hope you get it going mate.
  23. Superb post mate, welcome to the forum. If you speak to Grev tell him Robert in Scotland sends his regards, he was a great guy to deal with.
  24. Company is certainly finished making them, i phoned universal Bingham looking for parts and they said they had so spares left and i really got the impression they did not want anything to do with it. Its a pity they finished as they are solid built chippers.
  25. I've got the same chipper I've no wiring diagram, when you say conked out when you try to start it are you getting a click at the key or nothing? They are reasonably easy chippers to work on and lots of the loom can be un plugged and checked.
