  2. On the plus side though mark you could double your staff for the same weight !!
  3. But you would need to carry steps so they could get the timber in the back so there's the weight back up mark It's a dilemma for sure..
  4. I use the lavoro sherwood boot, very comfortable and waterproof and have lasted for ages.

  14. chris, get in touch with Tomd on here he recently done an arb specific course and said it was very good.
  15. personally i would have cut the bed down so only the chip box tips, then build your tool box on the truck chassis, means you dont have all your kit going up with the tipper. Also can be a pain if you tip the box to chip into then you need something from your tool box, you have to drop the tipper again. good job though mate

  22. Spot on, the bottom line is if you can live on that money then it's a fine wage if you can't then it's crap, everyones outgoings are different. But as Mozza says its 8 hours and stop, a lot of self employed/small business owners would be on less if they worked out there real working hours, hgv drivers around here are on £7 an hour.
