  7. I did think about that at the time but I ended up getting mog.
  8. £2500 would get you a second hand TP 150 I'm sure these run on 30hp + I have one on the back of my mog, excellent chippers, and the run there own hydraulic pump so only a pto needed.

  10. my favourite firewood, takes a while to season though. as said try and split while green.
  11. here its pulling some trees down, i only fitted it to pull the chipper in to the garage as its tricky to reverse but I've used it quite a lot.

  14. i was soaking today too in the swimming pool then a sauna!!. I'm not working in that if i don't need to. i learnt a long time ago to have your account healthy going into the winter so when the pish weather hits you don't need to work in it. served me well for years.
  15. I remember a company at an apf years ago selling them, I was tempted myself but the petrol engine put me off. I liked them though

    Ain't that the truth, I let my CHAS approval lapse but will get it again, the contract I secured required SAFE contractor. As above they were horrible to deal with :thumbdown:
  18. That would not be too bad I suppose I think my renault holds about 6 cube do you think a 130 back would hold that? Budget wise I'm not sure yet as I would have 4 vehicles to sell first before I buy one. Whats the dimensions of your chip box Paul, you have run your 110 for a while now do you find it's too small ? They say size is important or is it how you use it
  19. cheers Dan, i know chip varies in weight what size dimension is your chip box? any bigger jobs the mog goes on site it would only be for smallish domestic jobs.
  20. im toying with the idea of getting a 130 or 110 tipper as this would do away with the pick up and hi lux and save me running two vehicles, i can also then tow 3.5 ton and remove more timber off the job (legally). What size are the chip boxes, I've seen a few that look a reasonable size but how much chip will they carry. cheers
  21. i had a small Roller trailer but rarely used it, i lift mine on the pick up with the swing lift.
