  4. Tom d on the forum is the man for that job his team of arborists work in the cramond area regular.
  5. You should have asked him to put his bra on, I bet that would have been quite humiliating
  6. i have laburnum at the yard you can have if thats any good. The logistics of getting it too you might be a challenge. pm me and we can sort something out.
  7. You would think for £300k they could get the spec right.
  8. im with stevie on this one, the cs100 would be the last thing i would sell out of all my kit, such a brilliant money making machine. i lift mine onto the pickup with a swing lift.
  9. im not busier than last but the jobs i get seem to be bigger and better money, its been a while since i reduced a conifer hedge
  10. As said just spike up the tree snedding it out as you go letting the branches fall, fell the head out then come down and fell the pole OR decent and fell it in sections to the desired sizes ie pulp/pallet etc. Sitka are easy trees to sectionally dismantle. if theres lots of wasps wait for the cold weather they will be gone soon.
  11. nasty but, chicks dig scars so every cloud and all that... heal quick.
  12. ive used a dragonfly the small ring is fine for hanging the saw off, i hate the caritools they open and catch every small branch they pass, they do my head in. my chainsaw stop is a short rope running through a micro grab.
  13. do you make a beep, beep, beep noise when you are backing up like that ben:biggrin: dont be shy man take the credit, bask in all its glory as your names on the credits
  14. haha that would be something Dean, the truth is when you slow it down 20 times im like an injured rohypnol injected sloth i might do it again stevie with the benny hill music, that would be a laugh in-fact, if i thought about it i could have got got gav to run about in a bra and pants whilst i was videoing it, thats one for the future
  15. stick at it ben it will happen for you haha you could charge money to see out his eyes cheers Tim
  16. You have set a high bench mark now Ben, we are not worthy :adore:
  17. i use to do quite a bit of landscaping/fencing but now sub contract the enquires to another firm and get a % fee paid if they are successful in getting the work, it can be quite a hassle collecting materials for landscaping jobs especially when you are kitted up to do trees, you just hook the chipper up and go. i still undertake a few commercial grass cutting sites but that was more so i can stop competition getting on site and quoting for the tree work. So 95% tree work:biggrin:
  18. who do i look like Walt out of breaking bad cheers stevie, the weather has been great recently around here
  19. Well speeded up 20x

  23. That 19-28 looks brilliant, I think that will be my next chipper Never seen anyone actually use a rattle wedge I though they just lay about in bags Good video.
  24. nope i dont like it.( but i dont like work in general) but after trying lots of different things in the past i always come back to trees as they give me a better financial return than anything else ive done.
