I'm always shocked when a post appear looking for workers and it's not inundated with replies, if I had my time again when I had no commitments I would be over. Best of luck with your search squirrel

  10. No. The aaac has its place and is a different scheme than the chas, safe contractor types out there, It has made very little difference to my working practices as I was safe before the accreditation, just the same way if I was an unsafe contractor and paid a consultant to get me the accreditation my work practises would still be unsafe as its just a box ticking exercise. For it to be done right you should be assessed as you do on the aa scheme, only then would you really earn it through proper practise ( but no one would do it,especially in Scotland:001_smile:) So my comment still stands on it being a money making concern because they don't care who gets it as long as they can supply the paperwork.
  11. Unless you are going to Australia I heard they don't have a ISA chapter anymore I don't know why, seems strange if true

  13. Cheers The whole thing is money making pointless exercise.
  14. I have been told by one of my commercial clients that I have to be safe contractor accredited to do any more work for them, I have CHAS accreditation is it much different from that to attain for anyone that's got it. Don't bother putting a link up I've seen the safe contractor site. Cheers
