  1. i like a laugh, but that would just wynd me right up, i turn it off about 30 secs in.
  2. why is this thread still going when skyhuck resolved the problem.
  3. Danny, Is that your own property that you have moved into? That looks familiar is it murieston? As some of The scots pine in murieston/deadridge area are TPO'd drop me a pm with the address and I can give you a price once I visit the site, its very difficult to do a quote from a picture as there can be too many variables, I'm working in Livingston at the start of the week so could look at them then. Robert
  4. As stevie says dingbro for consumables and Saturn for knifes, I just turned the anvil on my tp150 and squared it off with the bench grinder. I did have a hydraulic roller motor go on mine and osbournes and Atkinson were quite expensive i thought but I got a correct replacement from flow fit for less than half the cost of dealer part. But as others have said osbournes were great to deal with.
  5. I don't mind the yellow pages/yell.com for adverts, in the scheme of things it's Pennies to advertise and tax deductible. Just yesterday I got a £1200 job from the add in the yellow pages and it's a tiny add. I don't subscribe to the just because I don't use it no one else will train of thought. I get work from lots of different sources so quite happy to advertise there. The sales rep is a different story though, you sometimes have to be quite assertive with them.
  6. Been there, done that!! Don't do it, get proper chain oil or at least clean oil, old oil is manky:thumbdown:
  7. This seems the time to buy a mog as its a buyers market, there are more mogs for sale now than I've seen for ages and set up arb units too. For the amount of chip you are going to get in a crew cab lux I would say it was hardly worth the effort, what about selling the fuso and buying Stevie blairs 4x4 iveco, that gives you both trucks in one and you can keep the hilux unmolested. It's difficult to get a truck that can do everything, good luck with your dilemma. Or buy a mog and keep everything else
  8. That's cracking
  9. I have a 211 with a carving bar it's a nice saw to use, I've carved one thing and it was rubbish but the saw is fine
  10. Sign up to the hilux forum mate, I'm sure you will get the answer there, they helped me with Few troubles on my lux Hilux Pickup Owners Club & Online Community

  12. Ryan, that looks like it would be fantastic. What kind of money is in the boat for a Week with or without gillie ? Cheers
  13. cheers ty Thats a very handy crane i really like that.
  14. That's a nice wee crane, it folds away very tight, I wonder how much just for the crane. Good find
  15. I honestly don't know I think I'm a Psychic
  16. I think it's a double drum winch for forestry
  17. Where is that Tom close to balvormie?
  18. I really like the idea of the chipper on the front, means you could tow a trailer even an ifor for taking away timber, saves running two vehicles to the job, that would really suit me on local work. Good thread Matty
  19. I think I read somewhere you need to drink more water as thats what causes cramp.
  20. i am glad i kept the pick up and tow behind and just use the mog on the jobs i need it, gives me a back up, yesterday the tp gave me some trouble so i took the tow behind the next day and finished the job
  21. cheers Dave, so can the standard Schliesing can be mounted on the front or back, if so thats brilliant
  22. nice one, looks a lovely place to work mate
  23. Are some of the duckers and schliesing chippers running anti- clockwise to account for the mog pto or are you putting a reverse box on?
  24. and a wee pair of scissors
