    Don't know about age but you can tell a lot of the ex-service lads from their posts from the language used.

    If these young lads are subbies, then they might be working for other blokes on the days they don't work for you and therefore don't want to be having an accident because they're chinstrapped from running back from the chipper empty-handed on your jobs. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

    As an arborist or chainsaw operator you should have the white card (Construction Related Occupations), the one that BALI run involves taking the ROLO test which is geared more towards the land-based industries than the CSCS test. At least that's how I read the websites.
