  2. my grandad who served in africa and italy saw mussolini being hanged with clara petacci and had a photo of them which very rarely came out. Again he only told us of the funny things that happened. The only time he spoke of anything bad was at the time of the kings cross fire which brought back memories of when he was in london during the blitz and he was one of the first people into a tube station that had taken a direct hit.
  3. How to fell a tree by jeff Jepson. mainly aimed at the American market but has some good descriptions and diagrams.
  4. the main argument seems to be that been ripped apart by a pack of hounds is a lingering death but having a huge hole blown in them by a high powered rifle and dying slowly from loss of blood or infection is perfectly fine.
  5. my grandad was a driver in london during the blitz and then became an ambulance driver in africa sicily and italy.
  6. reminds me of morecambe and wise with des o'connor: with a sense of humour you need a suit like that and with a suit like that you need a sense of humour.

  14. I think recorded deliveries are taking a bit longer atm because of volume of mail at this time of year. Try Royal mail track and trace if you have a reference no.

  18. Have a look at all the x-eng stuff as they do a mechanical shut off valve that can be put anywhere in a fluid line.
  19. Isn't 5.2m the same as 17ft?
  20. I think you're barking up the wrong tree on this being dodgy.
  21. Rhodesia became Zimbabwe. Mozambique was where SA fought a secret war.
  22. Could be the front uj. I had similar noises on my 54 L200 turned out to be the uj on the front propshaft.
  23. Yep, safe-t cut imported by brexco.
  24. The voiceover sounds remarkably like John Lithgow.
