  1. Sorry if sounded like I was having a go at you in the later part of my post. Just had a signing on session at the job centre which has driven me to the edge of my nerves. However, I do intend on trying to get my cscs card out of them.
  2. Just spat my tea out at the image of you doing that stevie:lol:
  3. If he did cut through his harness, then he didn't really have a chance did he? Terrible shame. Prayers go to all involved.
  4. Shane, what the business start up people don't tell you when you go to start your own business is that if you give up being self employed and go to sign on, you won't get contributions based jsa as the national insurance you pay is the 'wrong' sort. I was only claiming for jsa to merely tide me over between jobs so I can pay bills etc. I don't intend sponging off the state for a prolonged period as I just want to work.
  5. Buckler mechanics anti-vibe gloves are quite good, not numb like some can be.
  6. Ibuki 390. Curved blade, big brute and nasty bite. ticks all the boxes.
  7. I have just become unemployed and even though I was employed for the last nine months, I am not entitled to claim contributions based JSA because for the previous two tax years I was self-employed.
  8. Why not just cut the right size hole in the existing panel?
  9. Does Writtle College not do them?
  10. Or Dave Humphries with his trewhella monkey winch.
  11. Pete, nothing says more about the slaughter of flanders fields than the headstones which simply say 'A soldier of the Great War. Known unto God'
  12. Fiancees dad is a plumber and fits either Worcester or baxi boilers. He also fits magna-clean filters when he fits new boilers. When I gave him a hand last year, we were flushing out some rads but they were only a few years old and were going straight back on but the customer wanted us to put in some rads that were the same age but had been stood around in the garage. Fiancees dad said it would be cheaper to buy new rads as he would be coming back in three months time to fit new rads after these had leaked all over.
  13. A lot of the plane trees lining the country roads were planted by Napoleon to provide shade for his troops as they were marching. But apparently these are now under threat from pathogens which could wipe them all out.
  14. Sounds like he has discovered the holy grail of tree pathology- the cause of summer branch drop. Or is he just expounding one of the many theories?
  15. Absolutely amazing fielding by Smith:001_tongue:
  16. If you go for chipping/tuning it would be either Bell Auto Services at Acaster Malbis or twisted performance in Thirsk.
  17. Legacy is a follow on to the original
  18. Get a couple of greasy big macs down your neck. Should sort you out or a large wetherspoons breakfast washed down with newcastle brown ale:what:
  19. I have had Samsung tough phones since the m110 solid but couldn't get the tough version so have got the S2 in just an ordinary case and I was out in all weathers over the last winter surveying in the north east of England with no problems.
  20. How about the Samsung galaxy xcover 2. Basically a toughened version of the galaxy but IP65 rated for dust, shock and water. Mobile fun is a reasonable site.
  21. Peltor fittings are not as good as the msa/husky. I only use the visor on my kask if i am cutting really dusty stuff or hedgetrimming.
  22. Its my old school and it does have some nice grounds but there is also the pre-prep department which has an outdoor play area and i think they might use chip where the gateways into the playing fields esp down by the river.
  23. As far as I know Woodhouse Grove uses it for mulching flower beds etc.
  24. Maybe it is supporting the clients in their dealings with the TO by acting as the agent on applications?
