Rupe, have you tried using the wifi hotspot on your phone to connect your laptop. Uses battery and data but gets basics done.

They can be a bit numb until broken right in but they are great boots with good grip although not brilliant on soft barked trees.

Think i saw you doing some stump-grinding in Brompton the other week. Two big stumps at a road end on northallerton road heading towards the rugby club.

be a bit pricy on batteries running a cat scanner; why not pop down the local bupa hospital and ask when the mobile unit is around.
