  1. Thanks for this. Regards Pat
  2. High does anyone know the correct clearance when refitting the rotor bearings i.e. shimming the two small bearings. My guess is you measure the distance between chipper blades and the horizontal anvil. Thanks for you help. Regards Pat
  3. I wish it was that easy. It is basically a trailer wheel with an EJ30 offset.
  4. My spare wheel has disappeared. Anyone in East Herts/West Essex breaking a Timberwolf got a wheel and tyre they could sell me? Regards Pat

    Stihl MS361

Hi I have an aged MS361 and approx 3 years ago I fitted a non-Stihl pot and piston. It gave up recently, looked like one of the gudgeon pin clips worked itself loose. I bought a better quality pot and piston, but the base of the skirt of the piston does not clear the crank assembly at BDC. I measured the length of the piston, crown to bottom of the skirt, which is 41mm. Unfortunately, I threw away the old piston so cannot take measurements from this. The measurements I need are the piston length, length from centre hole to top and length from centre of the hole to bottom. The bore size would be good too. Regards Pat
  6. Thanks for taking the time to do this for me. Regards Pat
  7. Hi Can anyone help or knows a person who can? I am after a transmission modulator for a Ford 655C (not the solenoid control valve, but the solid state control box). On it are the following marks I 4X4 E8NN-7Z319-AA Kind regards Pat

    CSCS Card

If you want it to say Tree Surgeon now, you have to get the card through BALI. BALI have nothing to do with the Construction Industry either.
  9. My advice would be dont chip anything unless you have cut it down yourself. You will end up putting all sorts through it that you would have seen if you cut it.
  10. Did a bad one with a new Silky blade on my forearm. Never got down a tree quicker!!!! Except when I hit the massive wasps nest!
  11. If it's not a chip truck, put the winch on the back, then you can winch stuff in.

    CSCS Card

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but recently went through the process of getting a CSCS card. When I applied for the card, they wanted me to go through something called BALI which involved doing another course and test. I told them I had no interest whatsoever in planting daffodils. Got the card, but said I was an Agricultural Tractor Driver and Strimmer operator. Not sure why the Arb Association doesn't administer the card system for Arborists. Regards
  13. Hi Just get a bolt that fits and blank it off. Nobody uses the decompressor to start a small 2 stroke. Kind regards Pat

    MS362 Cylinder

Just badly cocked up putting an insert into a stripped spark plug thread. Does any one know if the MS361 and MS362 cylinders are interchangeable. I cannot seem to find a cheap MS362 cylinder. Thanks for your help.
