  1. I think it is a bit OTT to be publicly slaging a business like that. Besides I bet there would be no complaints If they started selling cheap chainsaws.
  2. No doubt someone will make vast yacht sums of money from that. The guys digging a hole in a frozen hillside wont be that someone. The title should be, make huge amounts of money - organise fence building in Norway. Cant be a bad thing though, at least the money will filter down and create some jobs.
  3. Where would we be without a HB pencil! and Erasure for that matter, that was when gays were 'just confused'. No offence luv
  4. Only if your takin about these kinda tunes [ame] [/ame] Im sure I have a copy of it on a TDK somewhere. Just think, in the years to come you will never see a cassette tape hanging out of a dogs arse. For those of you that havent got a clue what Im talking about, dogs eat anything and back in the 80's tapes where everywhere so once in awhile a stupid dog would eat one then try to sh!t it out.
  5. He is only going to climb a tree to get a helicopter. He is not, sectioning down a black hybrid pop that spans 42 gardens, a 24hr a day in use childrens nursery playground, a nuclear waste bunker and the M5. IM about to change the plug on my ghetto blaster, should I do it myself or get a trained electrician in? (I would say wog box but that might be seen as racist)
  6. Well and truly trumped.
  7. I would have said the stihl 066 but for daily use it has to be the 560XP, nothing else has ever compared.
  8. I hope your going to get one of your mates to shoot a drone vid while you doing it. btw thats said with the best of intentions of you have to or we won't believe you not in a snidy way. If you stay tied in and tied into something sensible then you won't have a problem, in regards to any danger. Getting out to the heli might be a bit more of a challenge though! Good luck, it's hardly rocket science and good shout for asking for some advice.
  9. That's The best way to go imo. State what you are doing and price the job accordingly. If you start to get too technical ie it will take x amount of seconds with x amount of men then the customer can come back at you.
  10. WTF! Is that a real image! Hate bloody wasps, been stung many times over the years.
  11. You cant, or I cant, or I dont. Stop being a miserable Scottish git.
  12. Im afraid you live in a different world to the rest of us. An apple and an orange are approx the same shape and size, under the skin they are more or less the same!?
  13. I never charged by the hour, full day, half day or look at the job and give a price. If you have to start dissecting lunch breaks etc then forget that! TBH, I have never worked for someone, or had anyone work for me that worked by the hour.
  14. Cool, which skoda has the r8 running gear as I'm off to buy one in the morn on the promise of this thread?
  15. Not read through the thread but I havent a clue on what you are on about! You price a job and thats it. If I price and its X amount, when it comes to pay its X amount, unless ive killed the cat then I might charge a bit more but in general it doesnt matter what you do as long as you do it right and don't con them in the first place. IE, its a tricky job and I will need 43 men and two cranes so its £450 million pounds to remove your elderberry Mrs Miggins.
  16. I probably meant that you are a boring tw4t and no would miss you. No offence intended BTW
  17. Deprivation is more rife than most people think. This isn't beggars in the street it is good people fallen on bad times. Not that beggars in the street aren't good people before a sandal wearer has a go. A long time ago someone told me we are all one pay day away from ruin. Looks like he was right. I see tonight that more libraries, museums and child centres are being closed. What a miserable and bleak future in store!
  18. So your new to the firm and the guy who is already working there is the problem. You sure about that?
  19. No not fussy man no one wants some cucumber and salmon sandwiches for breakfast. People who want that don't ask, they already have a cartoon of soya milk and a sealed bag of special k under their bobble hat. The guy needs a greasy spoon cafe and it looks like porkys has come to the rescue. I wonder if there's a rival cafe around the corner called porkys revenge?
  20. Shittest idea for a breakfast I have ever heard of. Get a grip man.
  21. True, I love the 'words of wisdom' given by people who dont have any concept of the real world. Just think a good few thousand years ago he would have spent 16 hours gathering food how lucky is he and us not to have to do that now.
  22. Better you get used to enjoying the now then. I must say in my older years I do like take that! [ame] [/ame]
  23. You will probably find that when you drop dead you disapparate into nothing. Just a heads up on that one.
  24. Always been a coldpaly fan [ame= ] [/ame]
  25. Surely thats as sad as it gets that you would rather be in work than enjoying yourself at a party!!! Why would you do that?
