  1. Every day. But when I'm in the business for earning money... Don't people have no business sense.
  2. You must be TTP? Cheers for that little chestnut lads.
  3. That's possibly the silliest thing I've read for a long time.
  4. I ignored the first line of the op as it didn't seem relevant to the rest of his post. You can't compare the two, situations. Anyway what is TTP?
  5. To all those who think he over charged and should have done it for free then please put your money where you mouth is and do your very next job for nothing or next to nothing, obviously it must be a new customer. Surely his business is ran by charging people for his service and goods, that sort of falls down flat if he gives it away or does it for little or no profit?! Besides it's all irrelevant as she didn't have to go in there in the first place, what kind of idiot knows the cost of something, buys it then complains about the cost afterwards? Unless the cafe owner dragged her in off the street and made her buy it but that's a different story.
  6. So you didn't like the look of one machine and now the entire brand is garbage? Maybe it was a Friday machine, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Boeing produce them too. As treequip says that model will be made to target a certain market ie someone who wants the cheapest possible saw.
  7. If kids can't miss two weeks of schooling per year without it having a big effect on their level of education then I think there is something seriously wrong with the current curriculum. Travel broadens the mind and benefits our health fact.
  8. I would only ever use genuine parts for something like that. Way too much work involved to save a few pounds. Unless of course you know for a fact the after market bearings are exactly the same ones stihl use.
  9. There are some weird scary people out there that need removing from the gene pool!
  10. Timber lorry eh. I think I would be asking for a bit more clarification as to what they want or just out down yes we do have a timber lorry. As my transit moves timber do that's that sorted. I'm surprised they bother asking as a lot of contracts no matter what they are for get carried out by management companies.
  11. You better believe it Steve. I wooda put a pic up but I don't know how to. Tommy, red dogs are the best mate. WELL DONE THERE. Busy day today, test driving 42 different vehicles.
  12. Well, while i was driving down the road I saw a brown dog, how cool is that! Although im not sure which is best, black or brown dogs? Excellent news on the bargain butty BTW, thanks for sharing
  13. Great actor, very sad to hear the news R.I.P.

    Battery

Batteries must take a lot more hammering these days though which must shorten the life expectancy?
  15. If your looking at spending less than a couple of hundred quid then I suggest you spend next to nothing, buy one of those cheap Chinese crap things for about £60 use it then throw it in the bin.

    Battery

School day tastic, I didn't know some trannys took two.
  17. I have absolutely no idea as I don't drive a skoda plus recording tire miles isn't my bag(i sorry of mentioned that in my previous post if you read between the lines) Although I will take a wild stab in the dark and say 42.
  18. Yes you are kill joys with nothing better to do. One day people like you will squeeze the last ounce of fun out of everything, well done, I'm sure the world is a better place for it.

    Battery

It depends on why it went flat. If it's knackered charging will be a quick fix at best.
  20. I'm surprised that so many people keep a record of how long their tyres last! Surely there are way too many variables to make the data useful?
  21. Excellent! Must be the best prize ever offered. No offense to the other donations. Hope a worthy winner wins it. Good on Steve and stihl.
  22. Mendiplogs (the forth character in thumbup)
  23. I would rather live in these times than any other, exciting and interesting as the op said. we only have a short time, I bet a bigger percentage of people are enjoying more of it more than any other time in history. For you old timers the spekky 48k is back on sale, jet set Willy and chukkie egg tastic.
  24. Radioactive logs come in, nicked chippers and chainsaws go out. Two little mysteries sorted. Good knows how these people make money shipping here. I can buy a piece of tat for 99p from China that take less than a week to get here and is delivered by royal mail who would charge me 3 times that price if I just wanted to post it from one UK post code to another! How does that work?
